  I was lucky enough to have Jewels be me and my SCAD student's tour guide for the Baxly. Jewels went above and beyond to answer all of our questions as well as show genuine pride in all the thoughtful touches the Baxly has to offer residents. This review is primarily regarding the tour as my rising Senior has not moved in yet. I feel assured that the Baxly has considered many details and amenities that not only provides convenience, safety and comfortability, but also offers a good deal of opportunities for fun and leisure. It's clear that a good deal of planning goes into the offering of a community feel, via various social mixers and thoughtful touches such as the "coffee chats", special events and working community "library" with available gifted books. So far, 10 out of 10 for the Baxly and 11 out of 10 for our tour guide Jewels.

  4/1/26 This is Cailyn. I am Halle's roommate. Yeah. Just pasting this in here because I fully second this. We moved out last October. I lived in the non moldy room (343 left room), EVEN I experienced some stuffiness from walking by her room. but YEAH just spackle over it!!! Anyways horrible experience. If you want to know more, read Halle's review here: 11/8/25 Reply to baxly's comment: No, thank YOU for finally completing my maintenence request about the mold, both spots of mold, months AFTER I had moved out. Thank YOU for "fixing the issue" the first time, even though maintenence was so unthourogh they missed a spot on the wall behind my bed. Never did i know such joy living in savannah until I moved out of the baxly! FULL REVIEW BELOW: BE CAREFUL choosing baxly! THEY PAINT OVER MOLD rather than removing it. THIS is why i am giving it a one-star. i genuinely don't think its safe to live here if you get unlucky with your apartment. domenica's review echoes a lot of my feelings about this place. THE ELEVATOR ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUILDING IS NON FUNCTIONAL. THEY HAVE NO PLANS TO FIX IT. i am at least happy they stopped emailing us pretending that they ordered the part! I am not one to write reviews, but the property manager was so condescending that i had to write my first one! Please be careful choosing baxly! I lovely on the surface, moldy under the layers! if you are a SCAD student, you would get better treatment staying on-campus than living here. Live here if you are not worried about whatever is festering on and under your walls. Even when they were not able to help, the front desk + maintenance was very sweet and so kind. They acted like actual people that respected me! I would give all of you 5 stars if I could and you were all so helpful whenever I was downstairs. Seriously love you guys Except for a specific someone. You are arrogant enough to know who you are! I came to the property manager about mold/health concerns and she was upsettingly condescending. At least try and hide your smile when talking to me about how there is "mold in the entire building" and there is "nothing they can do." I am generally a mellow person but it really that hard to be kind? Especially to your customers? No wonder nobody in these reviews respects you. Ignoring the property manager, I would say this was a nice place to live if they actually maintained it. Security is a disaster. The keyfob and parking pass security you are paying so much for is not often working. I had multiple documented photos of mold growing on my wall and my ventilation seeming to make me sick. My 3 requests were "resolved," but I never got better. They do just spackle and paint over the mold, they don't remove it. It was a dangerous mold that i had 3rd party tested. Management seems to have a pattern of lying. First about the elevator part, then with my personal experience with the mold, I would not be surprised if there is more lied about. ..so yea i dunno? Stay here if you want to risk your respiratory health.?

  When moving into the Baxly apartments, the staff was very welcoming and helpful with any and all questions or concerns we had regarding amenities, trash scheduling, or the package/mailroom.
