Over the course of our time living here we have gone through various managers, some better than others, but as of recently Kimberly has helped us out the most. She has been very kind, informative, and kept us up to date on many things we needed. Whenever we had an issue show up, she would address it and stay in contact with us to make sure everything got resolved. She has been a much needed addition to the West Wind leasing team and we couldn’t be happier to have her here. - R&L

Y'all, this ain't the place you want to live. Ain't had nothing but problems with this complex. It feels like you live at a business rather than a home. Management is constantly getting replaced, nothing gets done, and when they do decide to do anything repair wise, they focus on the things that don't matter yk. What about the trash compactor overflowing 24/7? What about the old busted wood on the bottom of most of the buildings? What about the insane bug problem? What about the terrible repair jobs done on all the units? Sloppy ahh putty work, doors that have clearly been damaged and sloppily repaired, the sinking in floors everywhere, sloppy painting, faulty wiring, horrible insulation, shotty closet doors, horrible plumbing, this list goes on. Not even gonna talk about how many residents have air conditioning issues over the summer. On God this place is a scam. Spend your money elsewhere bro. Better than the trenches tho I guess.

Lived here over a year. Only here bc of the schools and its affordable but definitely not worth the trouble. Any repairs needed, learn it do it yourself. Gone thru 4 property managers and maintenance men leave as soon as they get here. Nothing but upper respiratory problems for my children. Water heater was installed 1984 and air conditioning unit was last inspected in 2001. Put in new air filter that's suppose to be for 3 months. This is only 3 weeks of use. YOU WILL BE BAIT AND SWITCHED. DON'T DO IT.

If you enjoy living in government housing conditions but want to pay somewhere around the area of $2,000 a month, then this is the place for you. Takes forever to get maintenance requests completed and management here changes faster than the weather. My floors are constantly sinking in places because of water damage issues that have been brought up multiple times and when they “fixed” the flooring in my kitchen, they replaced it w a different style wood than the rest of the house so it looks absolutely ridiculous. My fireplace doesn’t work and I was told my a specialist that if a fire was lit in it the whole place would go up in flames. The chimneys have probably not been cleaned since this place was built back in the 80’s. We pay $10 a month for “pest control” but not one person has entered my apartment to spray in the year and a half I’ve lived here. I doubt they are spraying outside and if so, why are we paying for that. Also, a trash fee? This place has trash everywhere and the compactor is frequently breaking. This place is the ghetto of Wilmington Island and needs to be torn down and rebuilt with a company that actually cares about its tenants. I challenge you to just drive thru the apartment complex and see for yourself. The roofs need to be redone, the buildings need to be repainted, and they allow broken down and disabled cars to be parked in the parking lot. The roads are in terrible condition and there is even a parking lot that has a broken water pipe somewhere underneath that has been leaking water onto the parking lot for almost two months now. An area near it has already created one sink hole. There solution was to put cones around it. I called the water company and no one has reported a problem w it. There is zero accountability here. I cannot wait to leave this place. Run away fast from this place and find something else. Save yourself the headache.
