    Never received my security deposit back, am still getting charged rent despite moving out last month when my lease ended, the office is closed 24/7, I had black mold, and the neighbours regularly fire guns in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. I’ve left 20 voicemails trying to get this resolved, instead I’m having to hire a lawyer. See you guys in court!

    I put a deposit down on an apartment got sent out for a deployment they said they would refund me my money I still haven’t received it. I have called left messages and still no word that’s 250 dollars pissed away! Very poor service

    My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment at Heron on the Bluff on January 1st of this year. While everything started off well, our experience quickly took a turn for the worse once it began to rain. We began noticing a wet spot in the carpet of our primary bedroom, which we later discovered was caused by rainwater entering the unit. Soon after, we found more wet areas in the kitchen and front room by the window. We submitted a work order, and although maintenance initially came out to address the issue, a similar problem resurfaced just a few months later—this time in the second bedroom. Rainwater again leaked into the apartment, causing a foul odor and ruining some of our clothes. I promptly contacted both maintenance and the front office, but reaching someone was extremely difficult as the office is often closed or unresponsive. When I finally did receive a call back, I was informed that the maintenance technician was tied up at the sister property, Osprey on the Bluff, dealing with an emergency. It took over a day and a half for someone to address the issue. The odor was so bad that I couldn't stay in the apartment that night. My mother and I spoke with the leasing agent, stressing the urgency of the situation. We asked what the management planned to do about it, and even requested to be temporarily relocated to another unit while repairs were underway. The leasing agent later informed me that the gutters needed to be replaced and that the issue was affecting the upstairs units as well. However, nothing was said about relocating us, and it appears the property manager denied that request. A humidifier was eventually placed in the second bedroom to address the smell, but that was three weeks ago—and it’s continued to rain off and on, worsening the situation. This is incredibly frustrating. It’s now clear that these issues existed before we moved in, and we were never made aware of them. I’ve sent emails and will continue to call until I receive a resolution. At this point, the situation may warrant attention from local news, as other residents are likely experiencing similar issues. On top of all this, the property is not being properly maintained. The trash is often not collected, yet we’re being charged $25 for trash valet and $5 for pest control services, which we’ve never seen performed. We are paying full rent for a space that is not safe or habitable. Something needs to be done immediately. I am extremely disappointed with how this has been handled and am considering escalating the matter further if no meaningful action is taken.
