  **BEWARE!!** Be warned that working heat is a luxury in this complex, not a responsibility of the landlord to fix properly. I just want to warn others before they get themselves into a lease. The fire inspectors for the county tell me they are aware of the issues with this complex, so if that tells you anything... I was told after 3 attempts to fix my heat that there is nothing more that they will do. The first time I called the emergency number, I did not hear back until a week later when I called the office to get them out there. It consistently smells like it is burning, and dust shoots underneath the door from the unit. At night and on cold days it cannot keep up to the 68 I set it at, and I wake up to my apartment at 63 degrees. In the colder months, it got down to 60 degrees. I attached a photo I took one day when the guy came out to fix it. They keep the door locked so you do not see this hunk of junk. Heat is not considered an emergency on their part unless it drops down to 55 degrees. They have had fires in recent years, one resulting in a death, which I did not learn about until after I signed the lease. Their response was, “We are in compliance with our responsibilities as a landlord by assessing and making necessary repairs to reported issues within the apartment,” and they told me the same in person. When I said that it is clearly not fixed if it continues to happen, they gave me an email to try and told me they had met their obligation to me. I am so frustrated and scared to leave my dog home alone because I am afraid he will die in a fire due to their negligence. Update (approximately 5 hours after “We have met our obligation”): Now it is making new, horrific sounds so loud and continuous that I had to turn off the heat after it woke me out of a dead sleep.

  It's a very nice place to live. The people in the office very very nice. The property is kept up. I would recommend the apartments to anyone.

  I recently moved in to this apartment complex and my experience has been wonderful! The leasing process with the office staff (shout out to Hannah) was great. The process moved along quickly and without any stress. The apartment is in great condition. The appliances all worked perfectly upon move in. A nice, quiet and homey apartment to call home. Totally recommended!

  They are more expensive than they should be for the condition that they're in. I hear there is new ownership and it seems there are some renovations taking place. Hopefully in the near future it will be a good value for renters in Rome.
