I have lived at the Fields at Peachtree Corners for almost 3 years now, and the experience has been a headache from the beginning. When I first moved in, the leasing staff was exceptional and very friendly. However, they replaced the entire staff shortly after I moved in and it all went downhill from there. Within a month of living here, my car was broken into. Management was very lackluster and did not seem to care, nor did they help me in any way by providing camera footage or any update about investigations into the matter. Daily life in this community includes loud music, small children running through the parking lots unattended, and off-leash dogs. You will find empty alcohol bottles at the children's playgrounds, in the parking lots, and in the hallways of the buildings as well. New grafitti regularly pops up throughout the neighborhood. A year ago, I discovered squatters living and using illegal drugs in the vacant unit across the hall from me. Shortly after this, I encountered a flood in my unit and it took management 4 weeks to send anyone to properly resolve the issue. Due to this, the apartment was deemed uninhabitable and $4,000 worth of my personal belongings was destroyed. I was moved into another unit with zero help or assistance from management. I was not provided movers, accomodations on places to stay, and the overall process was dragged out by management. Once in the new unit, I encountred another water leak issue in the master bathroom which took 2 weeks and a lot of back and forth with management to resolve. During this instance, something went missing inside my unit and management essentially accused me of lying about it. I was promised a credit on my next month's rent to compensate for the missing item, but I never saw it. We experienced a fire behind the fence directly outside of our building a few weeks ago as a result of the valet trash service dumping trash and other items behind the fence. The fence was never repaired, and we discovered during this incident that none of the fire extinguishers in the building were operational, raising safety concerns. Finally, I encountered ANOTHER flood in my unit a few weeks ago. It was never resolved properly by maintenance, and when I requested a third party company to come in and do an inspection to confirm if the work was completed properly or not, they refused. Instead, they told me I could get out of my lease, which was a blessing in disguise. Despite being a loyal tenant, paying my rent on time and staying to myself, that is how they decided to proceed. Despite the massive headache the last flood ended up being, it has been a blessing that I can move from this community. Management does not care. Move here if you want your things damaged, living with mold and bugs, and management to not do anything about it, I guess.
