- LCLailaa CamaraDec 4, 20251.0I do not recommend living at Copper Social. I lived here as a student, and the experience was consistently unprofessional, overpriced, and stressful. I wish I had known what I was walking into. • Maintenance is extremely slow. When I moved in, my bed frame was broken to the point where it collapsed, and I had to sleep on the floor for nearly 2–3 months before anyone came to fix it. Our dishwasher, washer, and dryer were also broken at move-in and weren’t repaired until months later. • Roach problem. It is a known issue in the building and was never handled properly during my stay. • Management is unhelpful. I reported multiple issues directly to the leasing manager, Destiny, and never received actual help. Emails went unanswered, and in-person visits led nowhere. Staff communication overall is very poor. • Parking is terrible. There is almost no open parking unless you pay for a reserved spot. Towing is extremely aggressive — even neighbors call tow trucks on each other because of the lack of parking. The parking garage is a long walk, and they tow inside there too if you’re not in an exact spot. • Trash disposal is inconvenient. The dumpster is far from most buildings, so you have to walk long distances with heavy trash. • The furniture provided is low quality. Our couch felt flimsy and used, like it had been picked up secondhand. • Apartment conditions at move-in were poor. Broken appliances, dirty areas, and unreliable roommates were all issues, and management did not help resolve any of it. • Constant noise and chaos. There were frequent arguments, yelling, and neighbor complaints daily. It did not feel like a safe or calm living environment. • Amenities are restricted. During a pool event, residents who pay rent were told they couldn’t use the pool without a wristband. Overall, Copper Social is expensive for the level of service and conditions you get. I would strongly recommend looking into regular apartment complexes or other student housing options before signing here.
