If you value safety, honesty, and basic livable conditions, RUN from this property. Living here has been one of the worst experiences of our renting history.
Here’s exactly what we dealt with:
• Our car was stolen the day after Christmas, less than three weeks after moving in on December 2. Management claimed they’d provide gate footage or timestamps — we never received anything. There aren’t even cameras in the parking lot.
• After following staff instructions on which gate guests should use, my aunt’s car was damaged by the property gate. No accountability, no solution.
• The entire 3rd floor is infested with silverfish, and on top of that we dealt with ant infestations we had to handle on our own because management’s pest control response is basically nonexistent unless you beg weekly.
• The hallways are filthy, rarely cleaned, and desperately need pressure washing. The one time they did pressure wash, water leaked into our entire apartment.
• The pool was open maybe two decent months out of the whole year — dirty and clearly not maintained.
• When we moved in, our front door had a large gap letting bugs, heat, and outside air flow straight inside. They patched it once, but the gap came right back.
And let’s talk about their priorities:
They will send out constant community updates about a missing dog — multiple times — but won’t warn tenants about break-ins, cars being stolen, or shootings around the property.
Safety updates? Nope.
Dog newsletters? Every week.
Now for management:
You will never reliably reach Melissa, the property manager. She is either “out,” “unavailable,” “not in,” or simply not responding. Follow-up is a foreign concept here.
And don’t be fooled by the leasing tours:
Elasia and Bre are great at giving the rehearsed tour script, but none of that matches the reality of living here. They’re trained to sell you the image — not the truth.
This place looks good online and during the tour, but once you sign the lease, you’re on your own. And don’t let them tell you the equipment from the last tenant is ok to use , I’ve have paid multiple cable bills and have had Cox rep come knock on the door to ask for the previous resident to obtain their equipment.
If I could find a lawyer which I’ve been searching high and low for one, it’s so many lawsuits at hand here, if it was a 0 star I would give it to Thomaston Crossing.
Save yourself the stress, the health issues, the security concerns, and the lies. Look elsewhere.
