UPDATE: 11/26/2025 This morning, management did come by and speak with us and expressed that they are actively doing what they can within their power to make more improvements to the property, including expressing that they are available whenever they can be. There is a courtesy officer on site and you can call him for disturbances. Pest control comes by every month and works on certain buildings each visit. Ms. Tonya did say she was going to put us on pest control to come by more often to get rid of the bugs, and I am extremely grateful for that as well. If you need pest control to come by, you can request them to come by more often. Another thing she spoke with us about was the flood lights, there are plans in place to put more of them on the outside of the apartment buildings for lighting at night. I am pleased to find that property management is trying to make positive changes to the environment here to make an actual difference. She did give me her email so I can reach out with any additional concerns. But like I said before, overall, its a decent place to live, despite the annoyances. plus one of the few places around here that allow pets. I hope to continue to see improvements, and more clear communication from management.
UPDATE: 11/25/25 The tech attempted to fixed the ac unit by spraying the motor with WD40. I will say that the current tech is an awesome guy and I understand that he's doing what he has to as far as how the apartment management has their policies. However, I woke up to my apartment smelling like something was burning and a thin layer of smoke in the air that was coming from the unit. The tech did say that the ac was going to die and that the fix that he had done was only temporary. The motor has, in fact, died. He did replace the motor quickly and efficiently, and I am extremely grateful, especially with the risk of an electrical fire with the old motor. It honestly kind of feels like ALL of the issues we were facing as far as the ac unit were related to the motor. Now my family and pets can stay comfortable in our home with more consistence heating and air.
PAST: 11/23/25 Event number five with our heating and air unit. This time the unit has stopped working and smells like burning copper, and it's one o'clock in the morning, and eighty two degrees inside of our apartment with all of our windows open and the ceiling fan in our office space running on high. Hopefully they actually do something about the problem this time instead of just putting a patch over the issue again. Mind you, The tech that is here now is more proactive than the tech we have had come in earlier in the year, and for that I'm grateful.
However, its near impossible to get a straight answer from the front office, let alone just getting someone on the phone for general inquiries or maintenance requests.
Regular pest control isn't reliable, they have only been around twice since we moved in, (yes there are bugs, granted, its not like the place is completely infested, but I digress)
The apartments themselves aren't bad, they are decent quality for their age, comfortable enough at the very least. Decent amount of space for single family homes, or even a couple of roommates. The rent is better than a lot of other places in the area, especially for being pet friendly. But the down sides are numerous and if you need something done, expect it to take a lot longer than expected.
Pest control does not come around near often enough. we have only had pest control come through twice since the time we moved in. That is something that is very concerning, since there ARE bugs. Granted there aren't many, its not like to place is totally infested, but i digress.
Another thing to mention is the near constant smell of Marijuana. No matter where you are on the grounds, at any given time of the day, you will smell it.
If you are considering staying in these apartments, its not to terrible. There are somethings that we find to be an annoyance, but overall, its a decent place to live.
