- KRkimberly roseSep 9, 20251.0I along with my son and daughter resided at Chelsea Place Apartments in Lithonia from 2015 until 2025. I had a roach infestation which was never resolved! They claimed to have the best pest control service. My apartment was very old and outdated. Where my apartment was located, they had roll offs full of everyone in the apartment complex furniture and surrounding residents' furniture too. Everyone used the roll offs to through any and everything in and around the roll offs. The roll offs wouldn't get dumped for months! I complained on a constant basis. I reached out to corporate, and NEVER spoke with anyone, no did anyone call me back after leaving several messages. The residents owned Pitt Bulls, which were supposed to be band at Chelsea Place. One attacked my daughter and dog, one Pitt Bull ran up to a family and the husband had to shot and kill the dog, and another Pitt Bull banged on the living room window so hard he broke the window after seeing my daughter walk our dog. We moved in 2025 to very nice clean home in Stone Mountain. Upon my move, we had to use several cans of Raid and clean out every piece of furniture outside. It was so overwhelming I videoed the whole experience, which took hours to do. Before I moved into my new place, I contacted Orkin and used them for six months to take care of any roaches we carried with us. Orkin successfully got rid of the roaches!! I'm happy to say in my new place, I'm roach free! I hope Chelsea Place does a better job for future residents.
