  I moved in back at the end of December 2025. This is my first apartment on my own so I really don't have anything to compare it to. I chose the classic model which basically means no upgrades, basic kitchen and outdated cabinets. I was ok with that, you get what you pay for. Once I moved in and gave it a few weeks to adjust, I was very happy with my cozy "Tuxedo" apartment. I was glad that they put in new carpet and gave it a fresh coat of paint. I am very pleased with my apartment. I moved in at a great time with a great promotion. Best rate in all of Duluth with the most square footage compared to other apartments. Anytime I have a maintenance issue, the maintenance team have been quick to fix any issues that I've come across. I personally have not had any issues with pest (Thank God!). My a/c & heater work just fine. I have plenty of hot water. I greatly appreciate Aaron B. one of the maintenance guys for always being so professional helpful when needed. Krystal was awesome, she helped me get all set up when moving in and Rodrigo and Kanella was wonderful when I had to move my parents in as well. Kanella definitely went above and beyond with getting my parents an apartment. I also think Kanella is doing a great job. She has been proactive with correcting issues at the complex, she has recently had landscaping done to keep property clean looking, and periodically will host nice appreciation dinners, meet ups for the residents. I have great neighbors, they are all very welcoming and friendly (At least in my building) but my only issue is one of my neighbors will sometimes smoke weed or cigarettes in their apartment bathroom and the odor just seeps through into my bathroom. There are days I have woken up to the smell and some days I have come home from work and my bathroom smells like an ashtray or smoky bar. I have had to put in air purifiers, plug in scents and turn on the fan to try to air it out. Even with the having the smoke issue sometimes I am thankful to have found Crest at Berkely Lake as my first apartment. Overall, I would give this place 4.5 stars.

  Keys didn’t go to the front door,The floors in the kitchen weren’t done, some doors were missing hinges ,stove/oven knobs were wrong , friendly staff though .

  Recently, we unfortunately experienced some water flooding in our apartment. We worked with the apartment complex to get repairs performed. We had a great communication with the apartment manager -- sometimes almost daily. The apartment made the promised repairs. Five stars!

  The day I moved in here till today it’s been best experience of living here . Your problems are heard and never ignored. Leasing office staff is so friendly and cooperative. I read reviews and was scared but living here is so peaceful. Community often keep get together for residents to meet other residents and neighbors to make you feel like family. Overall it’s best to experience to live here and be part of this.
