Ironically I see a comment from another resident last month that had the same experience as I did with 2370 charging them for their “carpet damage” upon move out so here’s my experience. I will start this by saying I’ve never left a negative review for a company, apartment complex etc. 2370 Main St. & Asset Living has changed that. To start, we were told that all units were being transitioned from carpet to hardwood when we moved in. When we toured the model unit available at the time, they said that the unit we were leasing would be hardwood. Upon move in, we walk upstairs to find our unit is carpet. Instead of making a big deal we just let it be as it didn’t bother us and it wasn’t worth the hassle as our moving truck was already on site. Fast forward, 3 days after we moved out we received an email saying we owe $700 on top of them keeping our security deposit for…..replacing the “damaged” carpet. No wonder they’re going to hardwood in all the units….. I tried to get some clarification on the matter and I was sent back and forth between the leasing office and the assert living rep blaming responsibility on each other. I would recommend staying away. This is my 5th different apartment complex and have never had any kind of issues like this in the past. Some other negatives to note, They were running a referral promotion in their website the month after we moved in at which our friend signed a lease and put us down as their referral. We never received the $500 payout. The valet trash service that is a mandatory charge is the farthest thing from a luxury service. You are only allowed to place trash outside your door within a 2 hour time window, otherwise you will get a $50 fine for each occurrence. Additionally, if you place more than 1 bag out at a time, it’s a $50 fine. If you don’t place the bag in a unit provided trash can, it’s a $50 fine. Hopefully your unit provided trash can doesn’t still have the previous tenants loose trash in it like ours did… oh, and the service isn’t optional. Also, watch your step in the stairwells, when a bag rips, expect its contents to hang around in the stairwells for a month Also, I am not interested in a phone call with an employee in attempt to resolve the situation unless you’re going to remove this $700 garbage charge.

This place will take advantage and scam a tenant for unit upgrades they are planning on your move out- please beware. It was obvious from their website that they were planning to transition all units from carpet to hardwood as it says that all are now hardwood. We had one of the last carpeted units, and they slapped an insane move out fee for “total carpet replacement” on what was absolutely normal wear and tear, no physical damage to carpet but if they could find a single stain they used it as a report to justify total replacement charge given to us, when it is clear they intended to pull it up and replace the carpet regardless what condition we left it in, which was in no way damaged past normal wear and tear. Absolutely disgusting behavior on their part, and I see they did the same thing to others who recently moved out. On top of that, they are obnoxious and demanding to their tenants about trash pick up which is supposed to be a luxury service- only to have to step over literal food and trash of your neighbors for weeks that gets left behind in your stairwell for trash service.

HERE IS MY HONEST REVIEW AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS OF LIVING HERE (Moved out 1/30): *No I wasn't paid, I wish or maybe I'd still live there* PROS - I would rate my entire experience an 8/10 -It was close to everything and a 3 min walk to the gym so no excuses -There wasn't much noise, other than the occasional hatch owners going to crunch -Shoutout to Sonny, the maintenance guy with the glasses that I'd see every morning picking up any trash, watering the plants at the pool and the whole team. Maintenance had about a 2 hour turn around from the time I put in the request. -I would 2,000% still live there if the cost of my 650 soft apartment was not so high but hey, maybe later in life I'd return -I did not experience dog poop in the halls or anything like that, if anything you were GUARANTEED to smell Lavender Fabuloso in the halls around 10:30-11 AM. CONS -The walls and ceilings are thin. I lived in Building 3 and I can hear my neighbor on the phone occasionally in the bathroom. I have sung along to my upstairs neighbors TV from my living room. -Parking is slim! If you get home late (after 7, maybe 8)...be prepared to walk a little to your apartment. -The gym is a STRONG EHHHHHH but Crunch is next door so there's that.

Ayisha really helped me out when I PCS’ed into the area and made it quick and easy for me to move in theoretically quickly along with the office manager as well. Great staff all around, nice quiet and amazing living space.
