Jordan and her staff absolutely do a wonderful job of keeping up the grounds and maintaining the units. The property is within walking distance of hospitals, restaurants and shopping.

So, my niece applied to these apartments. She paid for the application fee and contingent on her getting the apartment she paid some other fees that totalled $300. She had been speaking and dealing w/the manager Cadace. At the time that she presented her check stubs, her step father had just died and she took time off for her birthday and his funeral which happened in the span on 2 weeks. It was a lot of her. So, when she presented the check stubs from that time, it looked like she didn't make enough hours. She explained the situation and she was told by Breanna who works in the office, she would be fine. They did suggest that she would need a co-signer until she could show her full hours, otherwise the apartment would be denied. She has 2 stable incomes, so, she said okay. My father, who is a veteran, and also works was okay to be her co-signer. They told her they would contact her after the weekend. They made her download the app to make payments, as well as, sending over a lease in the app. There were also instructions on contacting maintenance. Well, on Monday, the manager told her she thought she was unable to carry the rent and denied her, but told her the $300 was non-refundable. Each person had to have their own access. I know an application fee is non-refundable, but why wouldn't she refund the rest? In this instance, if she believed that she was unable to carry the rent, why even go through the process. I have the screenshots and proof of everything. This is supposed to be some sort of office fee, administration fees and background check. Why would this be necessary for someone that you feel is adequate to carry the rent? If she thought she couldn't handle it, then why would she even take the money? I feel like this is a practice they do to get over. You definitely benefitted from gaining her money. My niece just turned 20 last month, so, she didn't know. She is trying to get on her own and survive. One thing everyone will know is how they are scamming people. My niece has suffered enough. She is in a tumultuous situation and saw this in a salvation for something better. Instead she got taken advantage of and I will make sure everyone knows this b/c it's wrong. I work for the state. One thing I have done is keep receipts and present my case. I hate that she didn't take me a long. Unfortunately, this is a hard, but necessary lesson, to see what type of people are out here in this world. I will actually be contacting some people to see if legal action needs to be taken against these 2 women personally as well as the company if they decide not to assume responsibility. This has really stressed my niece out so much. Again, she is in an abusive situation she was trying to get out of, now, due to their negligence she is still not safe and out of money that she has been saving to get out. How pathetic it is of these people to work in these type of practices where they take advantage of unsuspecting and naively innocence people. Smh. Funny enough, the one review they had on here was from the lady Candace that is the manager. She also reviewed another property for JP Thayer (the owners). Is that not a conflict of interest? I had screenshots, but had to take them down b/c Google blocks screenshots.
