My wife and I moved into the Deco in July 2025 and it has been a nightmare ever since. Unpon move in day we noticed several cracks in the ceiling and walls and a burn mark on the floor. A 3rd party company came a month later and repainted and since the issue wasn’t fixed here we are again with those cracks reappearing along with several others throughout the unit. Our shower has been replaced now 3 times. We have several leak stains on the ceiling and was told there is a leaking pipe but they don’t know where since it isn’t a unit above us. They tore out the wall in the shower and closet leaving us without a shower and no closet to put our clothes. Tina, the property manager was unresponsive for weeks until I called Chamblee code enforcement (a violation was issued) and even then her attitude was horrible! She’s honestly the worst property manager I have ever dealt with. She said it was ok the ceiling was cracking in my daughter’s room because there’s “no lead in the paint” and she’ll be fine. I lost it! I hate this place and I’m literally counting down the days left in this lease in which they make it impossible to get out of. The office staff is unprofessional especially Shanay. She lied during the tour and continued to lie until we signed the lease. She also was soliciting information on how she can get a job at my wife’s job because she needs more money. DONT TOUR WITH HER! DONT MOVE HERE. If I could give no stars I would. Save yourself the headache and move to the Bexley!

I recently toured at The Deco with the manager named Tina. She was not welcoming at all, customer service was terrible, and rushed through the entire tour which made me feel like I was a bother to her. The property itself is very beautiful but i will NOT be moving here. I can only imagine what it’s like living here if they have such a terrible person managing the property.

Decko Apartments has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve called multiple times, at different hours, on different days — and every single call went straight to voicemail. I even left a voicemail and never got a call back. Meanwhile, my girlfriend calls and they magically pick up right away. If that’s not unprofessional, I don’t know what is.
It’s honestly embarrassing how poorly this place is managed. The staff acts like they’re doing you a favor just by existing, like they’re above speaking to people or following basic customer service standards. If they can’t handle a simple phone call, how can anyone trust them to handle actual residents’ needs?
Sure, the property looks nice, but looks mean nothing when the people running the place have attitudes, zero communication skills, and clearly no interest in helping anyone. If this is how they treat potential residents, I can only imagine how bad it is once you actually live there.
Save yourself the headache — there are plenty of apartments in Atlanta that actually respect people and know how to do their jobs.
