Decko Apartments has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve called multiple times, at different hours, on different days — and every single call went straight to voicemail. I even left a voicemail and never got a call back. Meanwhile, my girlfriend calls and they magically pick up right away. If that’s not unprofessional, I don’t know what is.
It’s honestly embarrassing how poorly this place is managed. The staff acts like they’re doing you a favor just by existing, like they’re above speaking to people or following basic customer service standards. If they can’t handle a simple phone call, how can anyone trust them to handle actual residents’ needs?
Sure, the property looks nice, but looks mean nothing when the people running the place have attitudes, zero communication skills, and clearly no interest in helping anyone. If this is how they treat potential residents, I can only imagine how bad it is once you actually live there.
Save yourself the headache — there are plenty of apartments in Atlanta that actually respect people and know how to do their jobs.

My personal experience so far in my 3 br has been amazing I love the views the community is peaceful and nice. I’ve been here for almost 2 years now and haven’t had one solid complaint or issues to complain about (noise/staff/other residents wise) the staff go above and beyond for the residents and are very understanding of real life issues that may occur. The community is very pet friendly and the maintenance team is amazing they never let work orders linger and get the job done as fast as possible. The location is perfect with whole foods, Publix, Starbucks, lots of bars, and restaurants near by within walking distance so you never have to worry about parking spots or not getting in your daily steps. The staff is very nice and easy to talk to to my agent that helped me with my move being Alyssa she’s very nice funny and makes sure you get the unit you want even if you have a change or heart or need more time deciding she’s not pushy and make the entire experience of moving feel perfect from first conversation to tour the property to receiving your keys. Anytime I’ve had any issues or felt uncertain about renewal, payments, policies/rules, etc she’s been very helpful and nice I would 1000% recommend moving here if you want peace security luxury and convenience

If there were 10 stars, The Deco would get them all!
First off, shoutout to the maintenance dream team these guys move faster than Amazon Prime and fix things before you can even finish putting in a request. They deserve their own superhero movie at this point.
Then there’s Ty, the assistant manager who’s basically the glue, Neisha, the property manager who runs this place smoother than Chick-fil-A drive-thru traffic, and the newest addition, Tina, who’s bringing the perfect mix of cool, professional, and “let’s make this place awesome” energy. She’s already fitting right in and keeping The Deco vibe strong!
Can’t forget the leasing ladies, the real MVPs behind the scenes. They’re the reason moving in feels more like joining a community than just renting an apartment.
And to top it all off this property has two Chamblee Police Officers who call The Deco home. They’re friendly, professional, and make the community feel extra safe both on and off duty.

I toured this apartment complex several times a few weeks ago. The first time, I booked an appointment online and the tour was great. The staff was polite, on time, and answered all the questions I had. The second time, I showed up without booking an appointment and requested to tour an apartment facing the same street as the 3-bedroom apartment I would be leasing (which was not available yet for a tour). Again, I felt welcome and the staff member was kind enough to satisfy my request. I also called the front desk to ask follow-up questions. My experience so far with the staff has been excellent. I have now applied to rent an apartment and look forward to moving in. I'll update my review to reflect on the amenities and the residence after spending time there.

I toured this property recently and was surprised to learn it was 5+ years old because it had such a new build look and feel. Very hotel resort, especially the bathrooms, and I thought the Tokyo doors in some of the floor plans was unique. I loved that they also had standalone apartment units on the first floor: no shared walls with anyone other than the person who lives above you. Very rare to find a unit like that anywhere that has no shared walls! Huge selling point.
Overall I give this a 2 star review for two reasons: 1) the front lobby smelled overwhelmingly like a trash landfill, it smelled AWFUL. I have no clue what was going on, but it’s very off putting to tour a property and its main lobby smells like the trash chute room.
2) Overall pricey and despite the aesthetics I didn’t feel like the building was super high quality with the price tag.
