- NDNadia DApr 19, 20263.0My partner and I moved in about a month ago from two other high rise buildings in midtown. The Dagny is a beautiful building and the residents are very friendly, but there are a few areas where this building is behind other buildings in the same area/price range. 1) The mailroom is a MESS. The picture below speaks for itself. Bins for each floor would be a quick and easy fix here. It takes several minutes to search for packages. The mailroom tool, Luxer, also asks for your credit card to be on file… 2) The thermostats are manual. Most other buildings have smart thermostats, like Nest, that can be controlled through your phone. It seems minor, but changing the A/C temp on the way home or changing the temperature while laying in bed are small conveniences we’ve gotten used to and expect for this price range. 3) We were pressured to sign the walkthrough form before even getting the keys. It took some back and forth with the leasing agent to allow us to see the unit first then fill out the form. There is also a smell that we reached out about several weeks ago that we stopped getting responses back on. These are small easy fixes that will make a big difference in our experience here. Overall, still a great building, but if the items above matter to you, they are points to consider.
