Please be aware of this company and listen to previous reviews as I did not. They will attempt to scam you where they can. To be able to rent a property they communicated multiple times written and verbal for 21 move in after application is received. Once paid and submitted our applications they messaged with the condition that my application would be approved if move in was 14 days. They will not refund us the money for an application which we applied on false information. The company was trying to make us move in a sooner date where of course would generate them more money. Please be aware and read your Texas Property Code § 92.3515 rights! This company is not compliant.

There is never anyone to answer the phone at the office. Have had several different managers to the point I dont even know anymore who or how to contact someone. If it's a big need item that need to be fixed they will not fix it. I was told we are not fixing the issue it's too expensive. If the house is not in top shape when you move in, be cautious about moving in it.

We hired Northpoint Asset Management – Atlanta, GA to manage our rental property and suffered significant financial loss because of their negligence and lack of oversight. Northpoint never verified the tenant’s identity or employment. The person who moved in used a fake name and fraudulent income documents and, as we later discovered, had a criminal background. Despite this, Northpoint charged us a tenant-placement fee and has refused to reimburse it. The tenant never paid a single month’s rent, left trash that triggered weekly HOA fines, and caused major interior damage. Northpoint offered no assistance with recovery of those costs. When the tenant abandoned the home, Northpoint continued charging us monthly management fees even though no property manager was assigned and no one checked the house. We eventually discovered—on our own—that the property had been empty for 3–4 months with the lights and AC running full time. Northpoint had billed us late fees for rent the tenant never paid! We only discovered these charges after carefully reviewing our account and had to demand a refund. We later learned the assigned manager had been fired months earlier, but the company accepted no responsibility for the gross mismanagement. They also withheld part of our security deposit for unexplained expenses. Reading other complaints on this page and on other review sites shows that our experience is not unique but part of a troubling pattern of this property management company. Because of Northpoint’s failures, we lost thousands of dollars in unpaid rent, HOA penalties, repairs, and unnecessary utility bills. We strongly urge property owners to avoid Northpoint Asset Management in Atlanta or be prepared for serious financial harm.

This company is horrible. As an owner they believe it's okay to you when they feel like it. There no communication on receiving your money, they randomly take money from your bottom line without any explanation, and then when you try to get it back months without any word occurs. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company. There no chain of command, everything has to go back to your property manager - if I could get any resolution from them, I wouldn't be calling you! Definitely horrible, not to mention the first property manager I had was absolutely horrible, and he was quickly replaced. I'm happy to report I will not be using their services after this month.

I have been without heating/ac since August. When it was hot I had to buy fans. Now that it's freezing (literally 59 degrees in my house) I've had to buy 4 heaters. There's hardly any response or communication. Yet, rent has been paid on time every month and they were quick to send me a lease renewal 4 months prior to my lease expiring. There has been no accommodations made, no offerings on their end, no money off rent, no reimbursement for coming out of pocket for fans and heaters, nothing. This is unacceptable. I don't even want my children here because it's so cold. Next stop is court.
