If you are looking to live in what feels like a war zone, this is the perfect complex for you. I have lived here for approximately 10 years, and the level of violence in this apartment community has become completely unbearable. Gun violence occurs frequently, along with other criminal activity. On multiple occasions, I have had to rush to the floor of my apartment to protect myself during active shootings within the complex. Despite this ongoing danger, neither the management company, Dayrise Residential, nor the onsite management team has taken meaningful action to improve the safety of this community. The most recent incident of gun violence occurred just days ago, directly next door to my apartment. My neighbor discharged a firearm inside his unit and then engaged in a shootout with the police. A bullet went through my door frame. Another neighbor had a bullet enter through their front door and into their closet. I am extremely fortunate that bullets did not enter my apartment. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. This is one of several times I have been forced to take cover on my apartment floor due to gunfire nearby. After this incident, I went to the leasing office to express my serious safety concerns and requested to be released from my lease due to the significant increase in criminal activity. This incident was not across the complex. It happened directly next door to my home. Management informed me that Dayrise Residential will not release any tenant from their lease without payment of a full two months’ rent, even in light of the recent shooting. Just a few months prior, I again found myself on the floor of my apartment for safety after an argument among a group of young adults escalated into gunfire. Vehicle break-ins are common. The gated entry is rarely functional, operating perhaps 50 days out of the year. The trash area is consistently filthy and poorly maintained. Beyond the constant safety concerns, there have been ongoing maintenance failures. I have experienced repeated issues with my A/C unit, leaving me without central air and most recently without heat. When my refrigerator stopped working, I called the emergency maintenance line after recently purchasing groceries. I never received the promised callback and had to go to the office the next day to escalate the issue. The same occurred when my heat went out. When the refrigerator was finally replaced, the unit provided was dirty and also nonfunctional, resulting in the loss of groceries I had just purchased. My second shower has been unusable for years despite multiple maintenance requests, and the issue has never been resolved. In recent months, I have also had to repeatedly contact pest control for my unit. I am completely done with this complex and its management. If you are considering moving here, do not be misled by the polished reviews based solely on apartment tours. They do not reflect the reality of living here. I am now actively seeking legal assistance to be released from my lease.

I Give my 5 Stars to Ms. Lyanna Clement. Exceptional Leasing Experience!!!! Lyanna Clement was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, patient, and very attentive to my needs. Ms. Clement took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about providing great service. From start to finish, Ms. Clement delivered outstanding service, she was responsive, professional, and made sure ALL DETAILS were handled efficiently and paid attention to, which for me makes a huge difference. The leasing office is lucky to have someone like Her!

Moving process was horrible. I finally moved in building 2. Apartment was great i had no problems at all. Multiple shootings, bunch of hidden fees on your rent causing your rent to go up $200+, only had 1 car break in. Went to rent office to see when my lease was up… i signed my lease July 24, 2024 they had it documented that i signed my lease July 18, 2024 and moved in July 21, 2024. I didn’t move in until July 25, 2024. These apartments are all over the damn place. I was gone stay another year but i couldn’t take it anymore. The high rent, the hidden fees, the shootings, the gates work one day then not work the next, it’s just too much for me. Also the water and energy in the community is high. i lived ALONE, no kids, no man or anything and my utility bills was $200+ each month.

This complex was nice from the leasing office to the sample unit. My rental person was Rhonda and she was amazing from walk through to move in. I loved her personality and attention to the information I gave her. There are a few other women that works in this office and they all was very nice and welcoming. If you’re looking at leasing I would say they are definitely worth the look and lease hands down. And I would like to thank Rhonda for everything I really appreciate your assistance. Thank you all
