This is my second time visiting my sister at Glen Perimeter, and unfortunately, nothing has improved, if anything, it’s worse. The gates are broken, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. There is no excuse for a gated community to have non-functioning gates, especially after repeated issues.
The hallways are dirty and reek of smoke of all kinds, making the building feel neglected and poorly maintained. It’s obvious that common areas are not being properly cleaned or monitored.
What’s most disappointing is the management’s attitude. The people in the office clearly do not care about the condition of the property. Instead of taking responsibility and holding residents accountable to maintain a respectful community, they shift blame and make excuses. This is unfair to the residents who do respect where they live and expect a safe, clean environment.
Overall, this property shows a lack of pride, accountability, and basic upkeep. I would not recommend this community based on my experiences.

After living here for a year, there are quite a few issues that we experienced.
The first thing was the HVAC. It NEVER worked properly. In fact, as of our move out IN THE WINTER it was broken. It would constantly run (which was strange) 24/7, making our power bill ridiculously high. It would end up going out for days at a time in the middle of the summer, with humidity inside reaching close to 75-80%. Maintenance guys were awesome and did what they could, but it was obvious the property did NOT want to replace the HVAC unit. So, our power bills ended up averaging nearly $400 (which I think is INSANE, partially due to the power bill hikes but mainly because the HVAC ran NONSTOP) even when we ensured the temperature in the apartment stayed close to 74-75 degrees. When the filter itself is getting soaking wet and frozen with freon, and the only remedy is to set the HEAT to 80 degrees to melt it? That's unacceptable. The number of maintenance requests we have filled and also the number of times we walked outside and bumped into a maintenance guy to help with the HVAC problems was egregious.
Then, there was a gnat problem which lasted for MONTHS. Our apartment was next to the dumpsters, which may have been part of the issue, but i had gnats in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, EVERYWHERE.
The weed smell got downright awful as well, though would subside when other neighbors would complain. (We never complained about this, but it would get real bad in the mornings and the evenings). Speaking of which the trash rooms would get ridiculously disgusting. Several times it had the smell of urine, likely from furniture being tossed, and it was gag inducing.
Finally, location wise it's okay, but you feel like you're living in an office park. Grey flooring, white cabinets feel like you're living somewhere not residential. Personal problem I didn't really care about until living here for a little bit.
Overall, honestly it's not the worst place i've lived. But if you are considering this place, read actual reviews and not the Google Reviews from people going on tours.

Moved here last minute after having another apartment fall through and it’s been great. Very peaceful, nice unit, nice gym, valet trash is convenient and maintenance is quick and helpful. The area is safe and there is an officer on site.

I have been living here nearly 2 years now and love it. Management does a great job with the property and the events for residents throughout the year. If you are looking for a conveniently located place to live and a nice quiet community, Glenn Perimeter is the place for you. A breath of fresh air after living in a complex that was the exact opposite vibe.
