Don't let the fresh paid and beautiful amenities deceive you. There is a reason the rent is low for the area. The problem with this complex is in the areas you can't see. The buildings are very old. I lived here for four years and nine months. I had issues with pipes bursting, air conditioning going out, frequent elevator outages and a gate that only works about half the time. The utilities were extremely high for a small apartment. I can only imagine it is because the systems are not very efficient. However, my biggest problem is with the office. They often tried to find a way to blame the residents for the repair issues, threatening to charge them for "misuse" of the property. Despite that, I paid my rent on time every month. I paid all applicable pet fees, including notifying them when I added a new pet to my home and paying fees for her as well. However, when I left after four years and nine months, they charged me $500 for carpet replacement and $150 for the cheap flooring that had started coming up. They said the $400 pet fee and over $2K of pet rent I paid was not meant to cover pet damage. The only reason I was not charged more is because I spent days cleaning the apartment, which they expected to be immaculate. No matter how good a resident you are, they will milk you for all you're worth when you leave.

I wouldn’t recommend living here. Management was very unorganized, and communication was poor throughout my time as a resident. There were constant extra fees that seemed to appear out of nowhere, and it always felt like they were trying to charge for every little thing. Maintenance requests took a long time to be addressed, and overall it just didn’t feel like they cared about the residents—only about collecting money. Also the elevator was out for a while in my building and right after that the stairs to the garage were out of order for months. Causing a big inconvenience for me and my family and guest. Definitely not worth the hassle or the price. Although the newer leasing agents are a big improvement from the previous ones who were there when i moved in August 2024.

I love my unit and the maintenance team is very nice. That is where the pros start and end. When it comes to the leasing office, they never answer the phone for your concerns. I tried to talk to the manager and was told I would get a call back shortly. Never heard from them. I called and called back to back. I’m literally suffering from a traumatic brain injury from a recent accident so I’ve been trying to limit my driving, etc. but literally had to physically come to the office in order to contact someone. I even called while in front of the office and no one answered but they were inside. The leasing official told me to call because she can’t let anyone inside because of Covid (which I get. However, if your only point of contact is via phone or email, it should be a point to answer those). They answered because I’m literally outside but claimed they would return my call. Still nothing. Any time you make contact with them it’s an attitude/nonchalant. Looking at other reviews, apparently it is a theme for the property manager to avoid residents. They can’t communicate when you have a concern but make sure they communicate when trying to get you to be a resident or renew your lease. Or when they are replying to reviews to make themselves look better. Once they get your money, they do not care about you at all. Period. I do not think I will be renewing my lease here.
