Getting weary about inadequate customer service. I found a house I loved and applied immediately.Got approved and now there has been some sort of issue with the “offshore” teams ability to generate my lease and cost sheet. Every time I call customer service they just “create a ticket”, which gets closed the very next day even though the issue is not resolved. Be VERY weary of renting using progress residential. If I have to go through this much hassle as a non resident I can only imagine what the support would look like in a real maintenance emergency. My advice, probably keep looking.

I had the pleasure to work with Yazzmine, a customer care specialist from Progress Residential. Her professionalism and attention to detail left a lasting impression to address the issues I was having with the rental repairs. She quickly handled the concerns I had and provided me with a direct number instead of having to go through the automated system. I was in the process of breaking my lease and never do business with this company again! After speaking with Yazzmine, I will finish my lease and consider extending if they continue to hire individuals of this caliber. Thank you Yazzmine for making me feel like a person instead of just another number.

Thank you very much to Ms. Leona Word. Since I have been with Progress Residential she is the first and only person who was Genuinely Concerned about me. She and I had very intense conversation. She speaks so eloquently with a true concern for the residents concerns as well as our safety. I wish that there were other Representatives who cared for tenants in the same manner. I have made my residence My Home, and in order for me to continually do my part, Progress Residential has to also do their part. Again thank you Ms. Leona Word, it was such a pleasure to have you assist me and I got results. She deserves a Raise! This has been the best experience that I have had with Progress Residential. I HAVE to write a review on progress residential Atlanta. I wonder do they actually do a background check or any type of training for their employees who answer calls. Its almost as if they are clueless to every question, they can't answer simple question or help guide you. They pick up the phone as if they are miserable at the job which quite frankly isn't my problem. I called three times simply to ask why my account was locked. Of course I was greeted rudely by each representative, you can clearly hear they didn't want to help. When you're in customer service the goal is to create a resolution they literally had no resolution. I was throwing out options only to get email this person. If I wanted to email them I would've initially done that. Man what a load of dumb people and I'd hate to curse but now I am extremely turned off from even renting from this place. I can clearly see all the reviews have some truth to them.
I also did email them, you can see the lack of professionalism. You can clearly see that my name is Raina Lindsay. They couldn’t even take out the time to proof read the email and double check my name so they referred to me as Emily. Get a load of this

My faith in humanity was restored. Renting for 8 years good record with progress. Work got slow I got behind And was facing eviction. Work started back up. I work for a union. I got the money together talking with corporate office. Most of the customer service reps were very cold not listening and no empathy. You could see the track record. Have a great rental history for eight years almost a decade. Anyways, get the money together talking to corporate office. They tell me that they will take the money to take it to the office. This is on Thursday. Eviction is set for Friday. Get to the office and apparently corporate office. Didn’t realize that the local office closed early for Christmas party. When am I supposed to do eviction is set for Friday so we call they didn’t understand what was going on next morning I get up and go up there everybody I’m talking to cold over talking me not listening accusing me of not getting there on time not knowing the facts and not willing to listen. It’s Christmas time I’m facing eviction and now my life is fixing to be hurt with an eviction on my record, which means not no availability to rent anywhere else as well as not being able to get a loan to buy a home I’m devastated. I take time out and I pray I see a man going into the office as I’m there early, he is very rude. When I asked him what time the office opened and they received the letter that I left on the front door. He was very rude. No empathy. I can tell these people are really not happy with their job with the way they treat other people not happy with their own lives, but I prayed and I ask God to just bring me somebody that has empathy just to listen. And this is where I get to meet Shiela Robinson so much empathy she just took the time just to be quiet and just to listen to the story. She gladly took payment and went to stop the eviction anyone else would not help but I wanna tell you that Miss Shiela showed up and she was so compassionate had so much empathy she was God sent. I just want to acknowledge her and just say kudos God sees you Miss Shiela. Thank you for having so much compassion and empathy and just being willing to listen your heart and God light is seen. May you be blessed as I continue to pray for you thank you for being so obedient and just being human you’re a good example of what we’re missing in customer service today. Happy holidays
