- JKJasnah KholinNov 14, 20251.0GERMAN COCKROACHES! I submitted several pest control requests warning of a German cockroach infestation. The exterminator would come every week and spray only our apartment unit and not the entire building, meaning no matter what we did, we would continue to see two and three German cockroaches crawling out of the electrical sockets a day. Management apparently does not read the maintenance requests because they were taken aback when I told them I was leaving due to the issue. They're in the office twiddling their thumbs for half the day. I suggest taking some time to read your tenants' concerns. Do better. The picture I attached is of a German cockroach still in the apartment one month after I'd moved out. I concur with other reviewers regarding the following. The 3rd floor apartments get very hot in the summer, and maintenance will not adequately fix the a/c to cool the units. If maintenance fails to fix an appliance or fixure during your stay, you will be charged for it upon move-out. Expect your move-out fees to total thousands of dollars no matter how well you clean, and the due date to pay it will be a month or so after you move out before they send it to collections.
- ALAravind LOct 30, 20251.0I stayed here for 3 years. The apartments are spacious, but most of the appliances are very old and cause frequent issues. Be careful — if any of these old appliances stop working, the management will charge you the full replacement cost, even if it’s due to normal wear and tear. When you move out, expect to lose almost a month’s rent in “move-out” or “cleaning” charges, no matter how well you maintain the unit. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this management. The space is good, but the way they handle maintenance and move-out is very disappointing.

Just a few things that happened that North Park did nothing about: A lady came and attacked my door with scissors, The gutter fell off and hit my car (they told me to contact my insurance, making it my problem), contractors broke the inside of the wall from hammering outside. To cap it off, they have crazy pricing and reasons to not give your deposit back, the move out charges are mostly for things that were already wrong with the apartment are outrageous. I would never recommend this place after spending two years here.
