  I lived here for 15 months, and while the location was convenient, the overall experience was extremely frustrating due to ongoing neglect, zero security, and terrible management communication. The worst issue was a complete AC breakdown that left my unit without cooling for an entire month during peak summer heat. Maintenance came out quickly after my requests, but the problem dragged on for weeks with just a window ac unit for a temporary fix, and it took a full month to get a permanent solution. It was miserable and no credit, which was awesome. Security was nonexistent. The building's security doors never functioned properly the entire time I lived there. Locks were broken and anyone could walk in. This directly contributed to my bike being stolen from the storage area, in which there was a whole thing about not having bikes on balconies so that's ironic. The complex has cameras, but they were apparently useless. Management said they would check the cameras, just might take some time, which never happened. I reported the theft immediately and got no meaningful follow up. In my final month, management suddenly created an issue about my car parking out of nowhere. I'd been using the same assigned spot without any problems for over a year, but they abruptly claimed it violated a rule and threatened towing and fees. It felt like unnecessary harassment during move out. Package delivery was a constant headache. Packages were frequently left unsecured, damaged, or misdirected. The final straw came after I moved out. I accidentally had a package sent to the old address. I left multiple voicemails explaining the situation and asking them to hold or redirect it, but never received a single callback. Not only that, but I know it arrived because I received photos and when an old neighbor checked, it was gone. Management was consistently unresponsive and seemed to prioritize collecting rent over resident safety or comfort. Joel was the nicest person there so I appreciate all the time and effort, we need more people like him out here. Another lady has some serious attitude issues. Save yourself the trouble. There are much better options out there.

  The reviews seem to be pretty accurate.I called and emailed twice.And never got a reply from anyone terrible customer service

  My husband and I are so thrilled to join the Overlook Community in 2026!! Joel in the office was beyond amazing. He gave us our tour and shared all the special touches that the Overlook provides . The pool, gym and common areas are state of the art and our future new home is a place we look forward to call home for years. Joel and the staff are so sweet and warm and extremely helpful thru the process. We can’t wait to move in!!

  I really love living here. It’s peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, which makes it feel so relaxing. Maintenance is always on top of things, and the office staff is kind and helpful every time I need something. I’m honestly very happy calling this place home.
