  This community is absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing and you get to select your finishes for your new home! If you are looking for a 55 plus community that is close to shopping and some of the best restaurants in Wesley Chapel you need to tour this community. What a great addition to Wesley Chapel!

  On my way to visit the site of yet another builder and happened pass the stunning entrance to Valencia Ridge. OMG.. The 9 models and their many upscale finishes, high ceilings, wide hallways, tall doors/ceilings, cobble stone driveways, spacious and well thought out floor plans- took my breath. I fell in love with these homes and the staff! Carmen was most informative of all the incentives and unlimited options to build my retirement home. She was very accommodating to my timeline as well. I have bought 2 new homes in my life time and I must say this was a top-notch experience. Thank you Carmen! After visiting 7 builders I stopped here. I am confident GL Homes was my best choice and by far the best builder. Literally our new oasis in a lovely up and coming area is now in my foreseeable future.

  Be aware they will not allow you to do a 3rd party inspection as other builders do prior to purchase. The VA appraisal that their finance company did was not complete or accurate. As a military family we value integrity and to be told things that are untrue or to attempted to be pursued into agreeing to things that are not in our best interest we do not support. My concern is what is being hidden when we are being told that they will not abide by VA policies, refuse for us to check out things using our own inspectors and being told we will have to sign off saying everything is ok when we can’t check to see if this is an honest statement. Without being allowed to have a realtor present, I feel taken advantage of. They understand their product but without allowing us to have a realtor feel we were taken advantage of to sign documents that sales person did not explain to us and now holding our $55K hostage that we are supposed to receive back due to VA. Military is supposed to be afforded certain rights that we are not given . My friend asked the salesperson Deborah how long the roof would last and Deborah replied don’t worry you will be dead in 25 years anyway. Such appalling comment to my friend with disregard to my friends health. To further show disregard my husband had two mini strokes that delayed us putting our current home on the market for about a month. For 5 days, have been asking for an extension on our closing for 2 to 4 weeks which should be an easy yes given the medical situation. I expected compassion instead of a lecture. My husbands mini stroke on top of his military disability just delayed us unexpectedly. We don’t want to lose our $55K down payment or home over a medical condition. This has had me in tears and highly stressed just the opposite of luxury . I just need someone there with compassion and understanding that we are doing everything possible short of selling to an investor for $160K less which is an unreasonable ask. I need someone to see that 2 to 4 weeks delayed closing on one home isn’t going to hurt them but not doing it is destroying our plan and financials and health. Update they refuse to let me have a 3rd party inspector do a full inspection yet expect me to sign off on a paper saying everything is ok when it is not inspected by someone other than those in their best interest.

  Staff was not to interested in me purchasing a home. Maybe because the way I was dressed. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!
