My experience at Sentosa Epperson has been one of the most frustrating and misleading rental experiences I’ve ever had. The EV charging amenity — which was explicitly presented to me as a free, on-site benefit during my initial tour — was a major reason I chose to live here. The leasing agent immediately pointed it out when they saw I drove an EV and assured me that free charging was included for residents. That selling point directly influenced my decision to sign a lease.
Shortly after moving in, the chargers stopped working completely and remained out for three full months. During that entire time, management provided zero meaningful communication, no updates, no repair timeline, and no transparency whatsoever. Emails went unanswered. Questions were brushed off. And any interaction with the property manager, Casey, was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly unprofessional.
After months of silence, I finally issued a formal 7-day notice of non-compliance because this amenity was a material factor in my lease. To this day, management has not acknowledged my notice, not responded to it, and not provided any explanation or update about the chargers. The lack of communication speaks volumes.
Then came the most concerning part:
The day after I submitted my notice, 6 of the 12 EV chargers were suddenly turned back on — but now converted into paid chargers.
No heads-up. No explanation. No discussion. Just an overnight shift from a free, advertised amenity to a paid service — immediately after I asserted my rights.
For three months, the chargers were dead.
For three months, management said nothing.
And the moment I filed a notice, they abruptly reappeared… behind a paywall.
If this isn’t misleading, I don’t know what is.
This is not how ethical, transparent, or resident-focused communities operate. The way this amenity was used to attract tenants, allowed to remain unusable for months, then instantly monetized after a complaint, paired with management’s complete refusal to communicate, is deeply unprofessional and unacceptable.
If you are looking for a community where advertised amenities are honored, where management is responsive, or where transparency exists, I strongly advise you to think twice. My experience here has been the opposite.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Sentosa Epperson Apartments. The building itself is well-maintained, clean, and has a great community atmosphere. A special shoutout to Tatiana, who was extremely helpful and professional during my interactions—she made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend both the building and their staff!

Been at different apartments my whole life and this has been the best experience yet. The main office is full of real people who genuinely want you to be happy. They take care of the pool and gym equipment very well and are quick with maintenance orders. I have the perfect apartment and can truly say I never want to leave. Also all the events and food trucks are amazing. Really shows how they want to keep the residents engaged with the community, I love it!
