The internet here is completely unreliable and makes it impossible to work or get anything done. I am in unit 3510, apartment 102, and this has been an ongoing issue for the past 7 to 8 months. I have reported it countless times to Ivy, Latigo, and the service provider, and nothing has been fixed. At this point, it is clear that resident concerns are being ignored. For something as essential as internet, this level of inaction is unacceptable. I will not be renewing my lease, and I will be telling my roommates and anyone considering this place to look elsewhere.

As a tenant I was leaving a review of my experience but noticed an extreme amount accounts that are not tenants giving an illusion of a grand apartment living experience that just isn’t true please be weary and cautious when looking into the recent experiences here as they have been inflating their reviews with false positives

The recent tragedy at Avalon Heights involving the loss of Limon and Nahida is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly roommate conflicts can escalate. I am sharing my own experience at Ivy Apartments to urge everyone to prioritize their safety when choosing a place to live. A few years ago, management at Ivy Apartments paired me with a crazy roommate. What started as small issues—stealing my food and leaving the kitchen a mess—quickly spiraled into a nightmare. He would play games at max volume late into the night, and when I finally confronted him about my lack of sleep, he became physically aggressive, kicking my door and making direct threats against me. I didn't want to involve the police. All I wanted is pesce. I repeatedly asked management to move either me or the roommate to a different unit. They completely ignored my safety concerns. They forced me to live in a threatening environment for months without taking any action. Please, be extremely careful. Avoid any apartment complex where management treats tenant safety as a low priority. Your peace of mind and your life are worth more than a lease agreement.

Very disappointing experience. I have always paid my rent on time, but this month I ran into a serious issue with their payment system. Starting April 4th, the payment link they sent me was not working, and my resident portal was also not showing any balance or account information. I made multiple attempts to pay and have proof (screenshots and emails) showing the errors. The office was closed on Saturday and Sunday, and I was not physically in Tampa to go in person. I also tried calling but did not receive any response. Despite all of this, they still forced me to pay late fees and refused to take responsibility for the technical issues. I have lived here for two years, but this experience has been very disappointing. At this point, I do not plan to renew my lease, as it feels like nothing is working properly and residents are not being supported when issues arise. It’s very frustrating to be penalized for something completely outside of my control. Instead of working with residents and acknowledging system problems, they seem more focused on charging extra fees. I expected better communication and fairness, especially as a tenant who consistently pays on time. This experience shows a lack of consideration for residents.
