    I’ve been wanting to move into this place for MONTHS. Finally they opened the second building and was able to move in with no hassle. This place is a dream come true for me! The amenities are breathtaking, the staff is so friendly, and honestly beats the prices of other places. It’s absolutely worth staying here!

    The Galvin is a brand new upscale apartment community with awesome amenities and a very convenient location. Less than a mile to the Crosstown Expressway provides easy access to Tampa. Big shout out to the awesome Galvin staff!!! I would recommend this apartment community to friends and family!!

    I had a great experience at The Galvin! Nathan was fantastic, very knowledgeable, personable, and made the leasing process smooth and enjoyable. The community is clean, modern, and offers so many great amenities. I’m really happy with my decision to live here and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

    This is place is absolutely amazing! It has EVERYTHING I need as far as amenities. Honestly, reason being I decided to sign up is not only because of how the building looks but customer service is what really sold the place. Nathan went above and beyond for us on selecting the apartment, helping us with the application and just overall positive energy. Thank you Nathan for being such a pleasure and having so much patience. Looking forward to see you more often!

    The Galvin seemed like a great place to live at first. Everything was brand new, promises were made about safety and security, top tier amenities, too good to be true. Over the last few weeks the elevator has been completely non functioning more times than I can count. The door to the building won’t unlock with the fob that you are charged $100 for or with your app access. But not to worry, if you walk around the building long enough you will find a door with the locking mechanism taped over or an unoccupied apartment balcony door unlocked which will allow you entry into the building! This has been brought up to management on several occasions and nothing has been done to address it. Shortly after we moved in, a construction worker attempted to break in to our apartment, which was caught by our ring doorbell. Adam, one of the leasing agents, requested I send him the footage to send to the management company as well as the owners. He thanked me for sending him the footage and that worker was promptly terminated. Great, right? Thank god for our ring doorbell. A few days ago, Jessica-the property manager, sent out a “friendly reminder” email that ring doorbells are not allowed on property because it doesn’t “fit the aesthetic” of the property, ours is not hard wired or permanent, it’s a clamp mount as not to damage the door in any way. The lease also states that residents may not use balconies as storage units yet there are multiple in which boxes, bicycles, and even gasoline containers are stored throughout the property. The lease also forbids over the railing plants which are seen throughout the property. They never said anything to us about the ring not being allowed during the attempted break in incident and used the footage to terminate the employee. We even explicitly asked about ring doorbells while touring the property prior to signing our lease and the lease does not state anything about not allowing the devices use. We were told it was a policy change. However, the residents were not notified of the policy change prior to this “friendly reminder” email just a few days ago. I have since emailed twice asking for the policy and have received no communication regarding the matter. They have been completely avoiding the topic. According to Florida state law, they are completely legal. They avoid conflict and fail to address the actual policies that are in the lease such as smoking on property or having properly functioning locking doors. If you take a look through the reviews, you’ll notice only the positive reviews have a response, they completely ignore the reviews that address concerns their residents have-just like the emails. We do not feel safe here given the amount of improperly secured doors and the attempted break in within our first month here. I feel that resident safety and concerns should be a higher priority than someone’s ring doorbell that is completely in compliance with Florida statute since it is in plain view, does not record sound, and is in a shared space in which there is no expectation of privacy.
