  I would not recommend living at this property. My experience raised serious concerns about how resident health and safety issues are handled. We discovered what appeared to be black mold in our apartment. Rather than conducting proper testing prior to remediation, management indicated they would remediate first and test afterward. Due to this approach, we chose to pay out of pocket for independent testing, which confirmed the presence of black mold. We then provided management with documentation from a certified professional outlining the appropriate remediation procedures. Unfortunately, these guidelines were not followed. Instead, the response appeared to involve surface-level cleaning using a mold spray and cloths, followed by painting over the affected area. Additionally, the materials used during this process were left on personal belongings, including my bed. Over the course of several months, I experienced ongoing health issues, including persistent fatigue and illness, which added to the seriousness of the situation. This made it especially concerning that the issue was not handled according to professional standards once it was clearly identified. When concerns were raised, the response from management felt dismissive rather than solution-oriented. Overall, this experience was frustrating and stressful, and I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider how maintenance and health-related concerns are addressed before choosing to live here. Not to mention the pool being closed half the time we lived there because it was never kept up with properly. I agree it didn’t look bad from the outside till you start living there. They will blame everything on being new management but yet they are not being accommodating at all. Besides terminating our lease. They could’ve re homed us but no just lease termination. Causing me and my roommates to pay out of pocket for a air bnb as college students

  Actually the worst place you could ever live , me and my two roommates were sick all year. Asked the office if they could come test the mold we found by our beds. They said they would “remediate” it then test it. By remediate they wiped it off with a spray bottle and rag. And then left the mold rags on our BEDS. We instead got it tested by a professional since they would not and it was BLACK MOLD all in our HVAC system. They told us they would remediate it and supply us with a place to live until they had it probably remediated (which involved replacing HVAC system and drywall) they told us we could use the model unit it was probably remediated. They had us move all our stuff into the model unit just for in 24 hours send us another email that we have to move back into our MOLD apartment because they can’t suspend touring. So instead of focusing on our health they wanted to make more money. Everyone in our building says they see mold and feel sick to. They then terminated our lease without supplying us with a place to live and have still not remediated the place, we now have to pay for a airbnb as young college girls and have had to deal with moving all in the middle of exam week. When you try to talk to them they just say send a email to the higher up individual however it’s been 2 months and we have received one email from her after emailing her multiple times. Let’s also not forget our pool getting shut down for 2 months because they can’t even keep that up to health codes. They will just say it is new management however they are so rude and unhelpful. Would give this place negative stars if I could.

  My living experience at The Asher has been the absolute very best. I love my unit. The Leasing Office Team always ensures my unit is well maintained. They also keep me updated on everything that’s happening in the unit and in the neighborhood. The maintenance team is awesome and are on-site within 24-48 hours. Everyone is so nice here and the community and culture are truly a vibe. The gym is perfect for whatever your goals are and the pool is extremely chill. This is the best living experience in Tallahassee. Shout out to Kayla, Jacques, and Raegan for making this the best neighborhood ever. I wouldn’t be where I am today without The Asher and the community here. Thank you all so much.
