I recently signed my 3rd year lease. Overall, it’s a convenient place to live. I can’t comment on the amenities since I don’t use them. I’m elderly and very quiet. There are a few concerns that are bothersome which can easily happen with such transiency, both with tenants and management. Property managers have had several changes in the little over 2 yrs I have been living here. In fact, several months have, at times, passed without a manager for the property, leaving all the responsibility to one assistant property manager and the ancillary staff. Those who have worked as leasing agents have, overall, been good. Most recently, the leasing agent, Adriana, has been outstanding and has been extremely diligent in handling any issue within her purview with prompt compliance. Additionally, Adriana is very professional and amiable. She is courteous, pleasant and always willing to help with any issue or concern one may have. Another accolade is her consistently pleasant and attractive personality. That is a real plus for a person
entering as a prospective tenant to be so warmly received. First impression does count!! I am concerned about the lack of security with gates being broken and left open, having gone months without being repaired. Also, access to the property inside the gates, is wide open with doors unlocked with no need for a fob to enter a building. People park outside the gate, when working, until a bona fide tenant enters and rushes in behind them. Of utmost concern to me is the lack of lighting for seeing the entrance into the property. The AxisOne sign needs to be illuminated after dark since the entrance is just a few feet away from busy US #1 and one cannot see the entrance until right at it. The risk of a deadly accident is just waiting to happen, if one is hit from behind or driving into the sunken ground with a concrete culvert immediately in front of them. I have a legitimate disability pass on my windshield but I have a garage so it’s not of great concern to me personally but there are residents who need one of the 2 diability spots reserved but there are in- considerate residents and delivery people who park there who have no disability at all and no disability placards or license plates shown on their vehicles. Overall, I have found the majority of residents and staff to be quite nice & considerate of others and the property. I would like to extend special kudos to Willy, in maintenance, as being extremely competent, friendly and super efficient in responding to any needs immediately! He and Adriana are really a pleasure to deal with and that one can count on when needed. I believe the recent new manager, Vanessa, appears to be very knowledgeable in management and very accommodating and very amiable and, hopefully, will remain with us for the foreseeable future🙏👍
