  We were genuinely excited to build our home with Toll Brothers and came into this process expecting the quality and professionalism the brand is known for. Unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing — not because of major construction delays, but because of how concerns were handled. Our project manager has often been dismissive when we’ve pointed out issues that clearly fall short of the promised standard. Small details like baseboards and trim may seem minor, but they reflect craftsmanship and pride — and ours were poorly done. Instead of accountability, we were met with excuses. What should have been a milestone filled with excitement has instead felt disheartening. Toll Brothers positions itself as a luxury builder, but our experience at the local level has not reflected that. I hope leadership takes a closer look at customer experience and quality control, because buyers deserve far better follow-through and respect.

  ***EDITED TO ADD: We are in month 15 of our new construction build. Toll Brothers refuses to give us a closing date. House has been upright since August of 2021. Sat with NOTHING happening until February of 2022 (which was supposed to be our closing month). As of yesterday, their excuse as to why we can't get a closing date, "because one countertop is missing". No reasons given as to why there is a counter missing or when it will be installed other than, "they have a call in to the company and are awaiting a response". I have called the North Division Office THREE TIMES and have yet to receive a call back from anyone. #BUYERBEWARE We were told in February of 2021 when we contracted that it was a 12 month build time. Last month, Linda stated it was really "12-14 month build time". Today (13 months later) I tried getting a closing date so we could secure an interest rate. Now we're being told by Linda that it probably won't be until July/August time frame. So buyer beware. Whatever build time they give you, add 6-12months. House was standing 9/27/21. Sat just like that until February of 2022 when we finally got insulation.
