I lived here for a total of three years. It wasn't an overall bad experience. Nice and quiet for the most part, and if anything was broken, the staff was on it. The pool area is nice; the gym wasn't great, but it also wasn't bad. The location is fantastic, right by 275, so you can get to Tampa, downtown St. Pete, or head on over to Sarasota with ease. Right by a plaza that holds a Target, movie theater, sports store, and other stores; Publix is 5 minutes down the road, and there's a Wawa and even a Walmart you can literally walk to if you're into that. Now the bad... Packages are frequently stolen because the mailroom is just a cluster of a mess. Parking is atrocious. My roommate and I had company from time to time, and our company would get towed. My car was once towed because my sticker was ripped off. Every person is only allowed one vehicle per apartment unit; that one was very confusing. What if you have a work truck? What if you have a motorcycle? Nope, only one vehicle, which is mildly disturbing to hear when you are paying a premium price. The amenities by the pool: the grills are almost always broken; there are one to two that still work. The main gates haven't worked for nearly 3 years, which has invited car thieves to come check every car door to see if it's unlocked. My gf actually had her vehicle broken into, which could be attributed to her not locking it, but, hey, why aren't these gates ever working just in case? The worst of it, in my eyes, is when the fire alarms ignite into song at 3 am on occasion. These are the loudest, most atrocious-sounding alarms. And at 3 or 4 am, it's the worst. because you get out of bed thinking your complex is covered in hellfire, ready to consume any unsuspecting victims, but I tell you what, it wouldn't because even the deaf could hear the noise blasting through your soul. Sometimes, this terrible downpour of sound happens multiple times throughout the night, prompting fire trucks to show up every time to shut off the alarm. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THIS SOUND CAN BE TURNED OFF. THEY HAVE TO COME EVERY SINGLE TIME... That was the worst for me. Overall, not too bad. Oh, you can hear your neighbors upstairs clear as day. I was exposed to "extracurricular" activity noises quite frequently, and their stomping like T-Rexes, and their mini horses (dogs) they kept in one of their bedrooms, which I'd unapologetically call a stable because that's apparently where the mini horses would be housed. Again, not a bad spot; I enjoyed my 3 years there and don't have many regrets. I'd advise you to check it out for yourself.
