Jake is a gentleman and a scholar. He found issues I wasn’t even aware of yet, and got our water working in no time. Very knowledgeable and personable. Hope to not need him again, but he’s welcome at the house!

If I could give zero stars I would. The only top notch thing about this company is Brian Davis, one of the maintenance men that has come out multiple times to our house to fix things that should have been addressed prior to our move in. He is amazing, he explains everything he’s doing and what went wrong in the first place, he’s kind, and he’s always on time. I’ve enjoyed every interaction with him - they are lucky to have him.
Otherwise I’d give negative stars based on communication alone. We’ve been waiting for a call back from this company (our property manager must have died, or been fired because she’s completely MIA) after >4 phone calls, 2 voicemails, a text, multiple emails, and requests through their portal. NO ONE has called us back to discuss issues with this house since we first tried reaching out Dec 15th. Every time we call to follow up we are told ‘Belle’ has been assigned to our case and will reach out within 2 business days. And nothing has happened. We recieved an HOA violation with the first week of moving in because the lamp post light went out. That same week the AC drip pan overflowed because of back up in the piping that leaked all over our unpacked boxes. There was a leak in the roof, the tile grouting is disintegrating under our feet as we walk through the house, the screens on the windows were damaged and fixed by sticking tape over the holes, the AC damper wasn’t working so only half of the house was getting AC, there’s cracks in the ceiling throughout most of the house. So when we bring all of this to their attention, they send out 2 or 3 or 4 different companies to assess the damage to determine which company their gonna pay to fix these things. Which means one of us has to take off work every time each of these guys want to come out. Half the time the guys don’t even know why they are here. Half the time they show up without notifying us. Progress schedules them to come out with out ever asking us our availability. And they want to turn the house into a construction zone to fix the ceiling and the tile! Which means our cats have to be vacated somewhere during this time.
I figure that they think if they just don’t get back to us that it’ll all smooth itself over and they’ll pin the ‘damages’ on us and steal our security deposit.
Do not trust this company.

We have had ONGOING problems with our water since we moved in. Just when we thought things were okay for awhile another thing has to happen! Our maintenance man Kevin D is always the absolute best. But the company itself is an absolute disaster. Unfortunately we just signed another year with progress and I am completely rethinking why we do this to ourselves. We thought we were in the clear… we were not. Tonight our water would not shut off to our bathtub. The handle is completely stripped and not coming off. Not to mention we never got a tour of the house from anyone so we have no idea where the water shut off valve is! We called the emergency line and guess what “sorry ma’am all we can do is submit a request” so you’re telling me to let the water run all night?? “No ma’am but I can’t do anything else for you sorry”. The emergency line is just for looks people!! Also not to mention the water problems we experienced before lasted about 4 months long into move in. And guess what, we never got a discount on rent or a free month at all. And we just singed and they upped our rental price by $100?! You’d think as a valued resident that chose to stay after the problems we experienced in the beginning they’d take it all into consideration. Nope. We are seriously rethinking this whole entire process and I am so so upset with how you can’t talk to anyone besides someone online always only telling me “I can submit a request but I’m sorry I can’t do anything else for you” that’s all we get time and time again. The only good thing about this company are the actual maintenance men that come out to the property. Other than that run elsewhere please. Save your money, time and stress.

Matthew showed up to my house for a maintenence call, he showed up late and then proceeded to say he has to go to lunch and he will be back. When I called about him showing up late and then immediately saying he had to go to lunch and they said they would talk to him and see what happened. They called back and told me what he said and he lied to them saying he left contact information for us to reach him and that he didn't go get lunch but instead went to Lowes to get some stuff he needed even though he never came in and looked at it. Overall the team is great but be careful if you see matthew as your technician.

My family and myself have been extremely happy ever since moving into our Progress Residential home several months ago. Belle Pauley Has been so wonderful helping me every step of the way. I’m not very tech savvy so doing so much online (Paying rent, etc.) Sometimes I struggle with, and she has just been so wonderful helping me with everything. The home itself is beautiful and the company is easy to work with and we could not be happier with our choice renting a home from Progress Residential!
