DECEPCIONADA 😞

This place is a disgrace. I feel embarrassed for the people who live here, including myself. Paying such high rent to live in something so unpleasant is unacceptable—the cost does not match the level of service or quality at all. The quality is terrible, and neither the office staff nor the maintenance team are helpful. If you’re looking for a place to live and this is one of your options, skip it—you’ll have a bad experience, trust me.

Stephanie and another staff member (short hair) have been extremely unhelpful and dismissive. There are multiple ongoing issues that have not been addressed despite repeated complaints from tenants.
For example, residents who come home late from work (around 3–4 AM) are being threatened with having their cars towed for briefly parking near the mailbox, even though there is no clear signage stating this is not allowed. This creates unnecessary stress, especially for families with young children trying to manage early mornings.
Additionally, we are paying for services that are either inconsistent or not provided at all. Pest control services, which we are charged for monthly, are often not completed despite multiple requests. Valet trash service is also unreliable and frequently missed on scheduled days.
Another serious concern is cleanliness there have been multiple instances of dog feces being left directly in front of our apartment by other tenants, and this issue has not been addressed.
With the current cost of living being so high, it is frustrating and unacceptable to pay for services that are not delivered. Tenants deserve basic communication, consistency, cleanliness, and respect.

I have to say, the patience this place has taught me is truly unmatched—because apparently waiting over a month for a dishwasher repair is just part of the “luxury living” experience at Maris Pointe Apartments.
Let’s start with the timeline. My dishwasher has been broken for weeks—yes, weeks. I was told (with full confidence) by corporate that someone would come out that same Thursday to fix it. Spoiler alert: no one came. Not even a courtesy call. Nothing.
So I did what any resident would do—I followed up in person. The response? “We’re short on maintenance.” Understandable… until you realize this has been going on for over a month. I called again recently, only to be told they’re prioritizing “emergencies.” Apparently, not having a working dishwasher for 4+ weeks doesn’t quite make the cut. Good to know.
Ironically, my washer took about 3 weeks to fix—so I guess we’re just working our way through appliances one at a time?
The best part? After repeatedly going into the office, a corporate representative overheard my complaint and stepped in, apologizing and guaranteeing someone would come out after lunch that same day. That was a week ago. Still no repair. At this point, even corporate can’t get maintenance to follow through, which really says everything you need to know about how this place is managed.
And let’s talk about these “upgrades.” The appliances look “new” until you realize they’ve basically just been painted over. The tub? Also painted. The windows? So thin you can hear the wind, your neighbors, and probably their full conversations—so privacy is more of a suggestion than a feature. The building is clearly older, no matter how much paint they try to cover it up with.
Oh—and as a bonus? Watch your step outside. The ducks that residents feed have pretty much taken over, so don’t be surprised if you feel like you’re navigating their territory instead of your own.
The amenities might look nice on paper, but basic maintenance and actual upkeep clearly aren’t a priority here. If you enjoy chasing down repairs, being told “today for sure,” and then hearing nothing back—this is definitely the place for you.
