Staff is extremely dismissive of any complaints. The office doesn’t return phone calls. Basically if there are any issues, you just have to live with it. Would be a 5 star if the staff was more responsive.

Overall, not the best experience, but I'll start with the good. Pros: Proximity to Universal Studios. Nice sized apartment with a nice layout. I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi had been more consistently warm/hot, but I didn't use it enough to be inconvenienced. The portal for maintenance requests is very efficient and most requests were handled the same day. Cons: Fees. I still don't understand why there were multiple trash and water fees tacked on to the bill every month. I also had to pay for the parcel lockers even though, more often than not, Amazon delivered to my door rather than the lockers. Cockroaches were a huge issue for me. I had the apartment sprayed 4 times in 8 months. The last time was a flush which required that I remove all of my items from the kitchen and leave the apartment for at least 4 hours. When he started, the exterminator opened an electrical outlet and said, "oh you've had a flush before." I hadn't. That tells me the cockroach problem predated my time there. And you guessed it, even after the flush, there were still cockroaches. That's one of the reasons I chose not to renew my lease. Now back to the fees. After I left, they charged me a cleaning fee because of "stains." They claim the master bedroom carpet was dirty and required cleaning. I'm still fighting it. The pictures they sent me show what I would consider to be wear and tear. So, if you want to be nickel and dimed and potentially end up in a cockroach infested apartment, by all means move into the Regatta at Universal. At least you'll have a spacious apartment and a lovely balcony.

I lived at this location for almost 3 years. During that time, you’ve noticed the deterioration of the property and the management team. The location for this property is horrible if you know nothing about Halloween Horror Nights. You will hear ALL of the night show with loud music and pyrotechnics well after midnight Wednesday-Sunday during season. The property also because extremely dirty. Trash, food, dog waste, and horrible flooding when it rains. There was trash cans and bags in the halls always to the point where there were rats making their way to the third floor of the complex. The spa is broken more than it is operational. If you want to make a maintenance request a month or so before moving, they won’t allow you to put anything in. I had to call Chris at the leasing office for them to fix my according laundry door that fell on me and he said that they probably would t fix it until I moved out but would put a request in to get it fixed. Surprise! They never came. Also make sure you have cameras in your unit, when they did their yearly fire inspection, the man who entered my unit never locked up and left my door unlocked for over 7 hours while I was at work. This property cares more about taking your money, raising rent prices, and charging unrealistic move out fees. For a property that had amenities closed for half the time I was there, either with repairs which always broke again, or they start remodeling just to slap some new wallpaper on the gym walls is laughable. “Gated community” shouldn’t even be a description for this property since the gates are always open and broken. I’ve had packages stolen from my doorstep since anyone is allowed to come in and out of the property. One night when I was leaving, I had to call 911 because there was a man passed out in the middle of the street in the complex in front of building 5. He was overdosing and was a very scary experience. The package lockers that I was charged for monthly I only used once. When the pool and gym were closed, we were still charged. I am so thankful I left this location and I’m living in a safer and cleaner complex and have more space with significantly cheaper rent. This place is a joke. I will never recommend for anyone to live here, and I hope with what this bottom tier complex charges, you find something that offers better amenities and nicer and updated units.
