  I was a tenant for 12 months and used as a corporate apartment. I paid my rent on time every month. During my stay the staff was helpful and polite until I ended my 12 month lease. There was talk about extending however I never executed or signed an addendum to my lease for an extension. Irregardless, they charged me for a an additional full month after I checked out on time. I was promised a refund for my overpayment since my lease only ran through the 15th. I politely and respectfully tried to work with them for over a month but they decided to threaten me with reporting me to a collection agency. It was never about the money, it was about the principle and legality of the issue. I decided to pay because I didn't want the hassle. Beware of these dishonest people. To act this way and treat honest tenants like crap should be a warning. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

  I lived at Azul for five years and at first it seemed like a great apartment complex, but slowly, but surely the crack started to show… Constant issues with bugs I had to get my apartment sprayed almost monthly sometimes twice a month for ants, spiders, and cockroaches. I had mold in my bathroom cabinets And there seems to always be something wrong with the plumbing. While the management is friendly, especially Natalie she is very nice… They are ruthless when it comes to additional fees. I moved out of my apartment complex a month ago and it seems like I am still being hit with different fees… I understand that I used a wrong form of payment to pay my bill but receiving a $75 fee for that seems absolute ridiculous when it was just a simple mistake . You would think with all of the headaches that I’ve gone through with the apartment being Infested with bugs that they would throw me a bone for once after I have never had an issue with paying my rent on time and dealing with their insanely expensive rent increases . After my first year living there, my rent increased by $700 and then after that increased 200 and then another 100 by the time it was said and done, I was paying $2100 to live in an apartment that was infested with cockroaches and ants all over my kitchen. I don’t remember that being in my lease! There is no sense of loyalty here with this management group… You would think you would do the right thing and wave a simple fee when I have dealt with price increases and bug infestation for years and always paid my rent on time. If you’re thinking about moving into Azul, I would definitely look at other options. You can get way more for your money and live somewhere brand new… Save yourself the headache, It’s not all it’s cracked up to be!

  Manny & Kelly went above & beyond helping my dad (dementia/pre-Alzheimer’s) during the last few months of his lease. This is a beautiful, well-maintained rental property and the management truly cares about its residents.
