  After living in our new Clayton Home for almost a year now, I think it's safe to say this review is long overdue. My wife and I had been to eight different mobile home builders in the area, and it was such a relief to finally find the team at Clayton Homes Ocala. From the very beginning, it became quite clear that this team is a leap above their competition and takes a great deal of pride in their customer service. Our salesman, Austin, was a great help in listening to us and helping us find the right home. He always kept us updated every step of the way and made himself available whenever we needed his assistance. Terry, the project manager, has been an absolute blessing over the last year. He was constantly in communication with us while the house was being put together and all the work after delivery was being done. It's not uncommon for things to pop up throughout the process, but what truly makes a difference is how we respond to those things, and Terry is absolutely the guy you want to work with when facing any new home adversity! I don't believe Terry ever missed a call or text from me over the past year... and there have certainly been plenty! When going through the purchase, you never really consider all the contractors who play a role in putting your new home together. I can confidently say that even the contractors Clayton Homes hires are fantastic. They are very easy to talk to, take pride in their work, and spoke very highly of Clayton Homes Ocala when I would hang out and make small talk with them. Once the house was move-in ready, Jordan spent the day going through it with us, making sure we addressed anything that needed a little fixing up. He also ensured all our appliances worked and that everything was done to their standards. We didn't spend a ton of time with Jodys throughout our experience, but whenever he was involved, he was always very kind and helpful. Lastly, I would like to thank Chris, the General Manager. It is clear to me that Chris is a great leader for this team. He spent most of the time behind the scenes and only got involved when needed. He was always quick to welcome us in whenever we visited and was very personable. It was so nice to see the trickle effect that a good leader can have on a team. I truly stand behind everything I've said about this group at Clayton Homes Ocala. There is too much to even put into words, but my wife and I are so happy we crossed paths with these guys. I genuinely feel like I've made some friends along the way and continue to keep in contact with many of the employees. After shopping around for a while, I believe the team you purchase from is equally, if not more, important than the product itself. If I have any friends or family interested in a new mobile home purchase, I will be sending them to Clayton Homes Ocala every single time!

  So thankful to Jodys and the team at Clayton in Ocala for getting me started and on my way into a home. Jodys has made the home-buying process smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions along the way. So grateful for his guidance and highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home!

  This is the only place to purchase a mobile home. Seriously. I've been inspecting homes for 22 years. These are well built and done right. Also the staff in Ocala is the best - Terry, Jody, Chris, Elena and Jordan are a fantastic crew and I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend Clayton homes Ocala.

  Definitely suggest going somewhere else if you need a home. Some people made Facebook groups for clayton homes buyers and its nothing but horror stories, look into it before going to them for a better understanding so you can guide them. And call in to check in on your permits, 9/10 they never filed for it until you do it yourself.

  We have not *yet* purchased a home, however the service so far has been nothing shy of wonderful. All of our questions/concerns have been addressed. The response time is fast and lenders are just as great!! I look forward to beginning the process very soon with Clayton Homes. Shout out to Jay Wheeler. I am excited for the near future steps to embarking on this next chapter. God bless!!
