  I moved here from out of state and absolutely love it. The employees are so welcoming and helpful, taking the extra effort to make it feel like home. Apartments are spacious with lots of windows for plenty of natural light. Grounds and amenities are beautiful and well maintained, too!

  I was one of the very first residents at Mexico Beach Crossings when they opened and lived in a 3 bed / 2 bath. I had to break my lease due to an unexpected situation and move back to Panama City. I took responsibility, negotiated the lease-break fee to half, and paid it in full by money order in March 2024. Over a year later, this balance is still on my credit report. I am currently in the homebuying process, and this has negatively affected my credit. The funds were always available, and had I been properly notified or sent a bill or collection notice, I would have paid immediately. I have called multiple times and only reach an answering machine with no return calls. Now I’m forced to drive to the property just to get answers for a debt that was already paid. Communication and follow-through after move-out have been extremely disappointing.

  The apartment was fine but mainly had issues with the office staff. I moved there in July and left my key card in my car accidentally and it warped and was no longer working. I stopped by the office to get a replacement and explained the situation. I was told by a worker that it “looked like it got left in the dryer” and pretty much accused of lying to my face. After moving out, I turned in my keys and asked if everything was settled, and I was told whatever was left would be taken out of the deposit. Well over a month goes by and I get a notice that a debt from the apartment got sent to collections. Concerned, I checked my email to make sure I hadn’t missed any notices and I never received any calls notifying me of any debts- nothing. They didn’t even bother reaching out to let me know and sent it right to collections- all for $160 which I could have easily paid. It’s pretty messed up that not only did they tell us face-to-face we were settled, that they couldn’t bother to let us know that we owed anything. I called and asked about the situation, and I was told that I should have received some mail. I hadn’t received anything from them- but the cherry on top is that I wasn’t even head of the household. My roommate who also hadn’t received any emails or calls least of all mail. This unfortunately messed up her credit score as she is trying to buy a house- all for $160 that could have and would have been paid if they had just bothered to call. If I could give negative stars, I would.

  Overpriced. I've rented cheaper apartments in S. Florida than this place. SHOP AROUND!
