Paradise Island claims that we had 30 days to rectify our bill after leaving this bug invested apartment, but disabled our account. They then sent the bill to collections and we did not have an opportunity to pay directly. During this time, we were waiting for the apartment to review photos we sent, as stated in their email. We did not realize that they would never respond to the photos and would just be sending the bill to collections. We are ready to pay and they are refusing to take our money. Edit: I already reached out before receiving this reply. Again, our account said $0 so what was there to pay? I have a long email chain with them where I brought up a multitude of issues and they offer no solutions.
- LSLauren SampselleOct 26, 20253.0Overall, my and my roommates’ experience here had been good. It is a relatively safe complex and quiet at nights. Plenty of families and friendly neighbors. When there are small maintenance issues, there are resolved fairly quickly (ex: broken dishwasher, broken shelving, bathroom tiles, etc.) and the maintenance staff is friendly. However, for over a month, there has been a cottonmouth snake in the bushes out front of my building that has made several appearances. Dogs and small kids live in my building. Several residents know about it, and work orders have been put in to have it removed, but nothing has been done and the work orders are just marked as “completed”. It’s disappointing that the complex has been great with past work orders, but will not pay for the removal of a poisonous snake outside of their units.
