  I have been living in this complex for one year and the staff at the leasing office is very friendly and supportive. I really recommend this complex.

  Excelente servicio en la oficina. El apartamento está en excelente condición. Muchas facilidades para la mudanza. Es el mejor servicio que he recibido en un condominio. El buen trato es fundamental.

  I was hesitant on if I should write a review just because I know Harbour Cove staff would not want the truth to be told. However, I believe if I was moving into this complex I would want a honest review. I live at this complex for couple years. I’ll statt off by saying the manager Melissa is exceptionally rude. This complex is a gated community but it’s really not. You could wait for a vehicle to use the gate key to open the gate and you could just follow the vehicle inside. About 5+ vehicle was broken into including my vehicle all in one night. After vehicles kept getting broken into about the 3rd time is when they considered to get a security guard which would be only at night. However, the security guard was terrible at his job. I never understood how the manager would not look at the camera in the front of the office it would show the him on his phone at night. In addition, he would sit in his car and park the cart in front. I would see the phone light in his car it was a black car older model merecedez benz (I don’t know his name hopefully the complex knows who I am referring to). He would drive twice around the complex when he first come in then again mid-shift and that was something he started doing after vehicles was broken into again while he was on duty. Everyone would get a notice about burglary inside people apartment & vehicles. Next, I want to discuss the appliance in the unit. The AC was extremely dirty when I first moved in even after vacuuming the dust inside the vent it still was horrific. The AC started leaking water inside the metal part and would develop mold after telling maintenance they came in and vacuum the AC then left. The fridge would make very loud noises it would start then stop. When I told maintenance they said it’s just the fridge restarting. The noise from that fridge was not normal it was so loud I couldn’t hear my TV in the living room. The sliding door mesh was never working properly it would always fall off and when you tell maintenance they would come and put back the mesh on the tract and spray it then leave just for it to break again. Not to mention if the handle broke you would have to pay for the whole mesh. Maintenance would come in your unit with shoes on. This unit had carpet so the same shoes they would wear to clean the garbage outside at the dumpster they would wear in your apartment. It was disgusting. The bulbs would always go out at least 6 times since I moved in and each time I would have to pay maintenance to replace the bulb it wasn’t like I could just buy the bulb it was a long kitchin light that would go out. In addition, the one in the bathroom would go out as well but just to avoid paying Harbour Cove to replace the bulb in there unit. I would just buy it just to avoid speaking to the people in the office especially if it was Melissa. Which brings me to my next point; Harbour Cove eventually became a non-smoking complex. Which I was happy to hear because the smell of marijuana was ridiculous at this complex. Also, no pets were allowed in the complex. The manager was a smoker and she lived in the complex as well. I saw her smoking a cigarette while walking a small dog. I found that to be bizarre. To most people the complex manager living there would seem like good thing because then she would understand a little better what’s going on since she live there too. However, Melissa did not care about anyone and was very rude to everyone. During the hurricane neighbors were talking about her attitude towards the residents. She would have arguments with her boyfriend in the front of the complex while I walking you see her arguing telling her boyfriend to give her phone back. She was loud and this was in the morning when she was suppose to be in the office it was very unprofessional. (I truly wish I would have recorded it). I am not the only one who feels like this about Melissa. I believe residents should be able to mail review about the staff at the complex especially if it’s concerning the manager. Hopefully this would help the next person who wants to move in.
