- NONick OrlandoAug 27, 20255.0I set out looking a new homes and subdivisions. I had a total of 5 builders to see in one day. My first stop was at Laurel Glen. I met Evelyn Santos. She was fabulous and knowledgeable about the subdivision, homes, lending, home insurance, and so much more. I was shown two Ryan model homes. A 3/2 and a 4/2. They were absolutely beautiful. I received information about both models and scenarios on costs. I thanked Evelyn and told her I had 4 more sites to see. I told her I'd contact her at the end of the day. I proceeded to go to the next 3 and was not impressed at all. The 5th and final builder was the builder that built my current home. Lennar in the subdivision Independence in Winter Garden, Fl. It is a beautiful place to live. It's a beautiful home too. I hate leaving it but its way to big for me now that my daughter is off to college. I was not impressed with what Lennar is offering now and their pricing was unexpectedly higher than I thought. So at the end of the day, I came back to Ryan Homes and especially Evelyn Santos. I was so impressed with the 4/2 Palm home. Subdivision is very nice too. I called Evelyn on my way home and told her I like the home and subdivision. Within a couple of days I put a deposit down on the Palm and listed my house here. I just sold it a week ago and let Evelyn know. So at this point I am waiting to hear that my NEW home is being built. Last point. Evelyn is a remarkable young woman. She was very understanding with me and my situation. She has been a strong advocate for me during this difficult time I'm going through. Walk me through the steps, communication is impeccable, great patience with me, and just the perfect person for me. We was worry bout our credit and when some of the other builders in the area basically didn't want to talk to us once they found out I am an independent contractor truck driver and with Credit Karma saying my credit score was low, Andre sat us down and taught me about credit Karmas inaccuracy and gave me some great information on how I can bring my score up and gave us an estimate on our future first home vs renting and what we would need to bring to the table for house deposit. We appreciated the time spent even though we weren't in a place to buy right now, he put us on the right track which is what we needed. When we get our lives together we will be calling him!
