  Great and friendly staff who were very informative about both the property and area. Apartments are extremely nice and the property very clean and well kept.

  If you would have asked me a few weeks ago to write a review I would have given Portofino Cove 1 star... Then I finally had the pleasure to meet the incredible office manager Jamie Urban! Since I moved in there has been a rotating door of staff.. between Annetta, Rachel, Ikeara, Yadira, etc... there was one issue after the next! Jamie Urban is a godsend! Within minutes she quickly found a solution to my issues with the property and found my past credit that was hidden from me from previous staff! Grateful for her turning this community around! Thank you so much Jamie!

  Some units in this apartment complex are infested with roaches. When tenants request pest control to prevent their own units from becoming infested, management fails to send the service. This is especially concerning because pest control fees are included in the monthly charges, yet the service is not consistently provided. This lack of action not only creates serious sanitation and health concerns, but also results in tenants paying for a service they are not receiving. Consistent and proactive pest control should be a basic standard for maintaining safe and habitable living conditions.

  When I moved into this apartment, I was promised new carpet and a clean unit, but what I found was completely unacceptable. The carpet was filthy and worn, trash was left throughout the apartment, the bathroom was stained and unsanitary, and the kitchen and fridge were left dirty. The patio was covered in cigarette butts, and there were leftover furniture and clothes from the previous tenant. I documented these issues with photos at move-in. When I reported these problems to the office staff, their response was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. They showed little concern and took two days just to remove trash and vacuum the carpet—yet the carpet was never properly cleaned, and the fridge remained dirty. Living here has become not only uncomfortable but frightening. My neighbors are constantly loud late into the night despite multiple police reports and complaints to management, who have failed to take meaningful action. On top of that, the pervasive smell of illegal substances around the property makes it impossible to relax or enjoy time outside on my patio. The pest problems here are severe—mosquitoes, roaches, and raccoons are a constant threat. The raccoons have come up to our front door multiple times, and on one occasion, nearly jumped on me and my young children. This has left me deeply scared for our safety. When I brought this to management’s attention, their only suggestion was to spray water on the raccoons, which is completely inadequate and dismissive of the real danger. Additionally, we pay for trash pickup that rarely happens, adding to the overall filthy and unsafe environment. Living here has been an ongoing nightmare, filled with fear for my family’s safety and well-being. I am counting the days until my lease ends so I can get my children out of this hazardous environment. I strongly advise anyone considering this complex to look elsewhere to avoid the stress, danger, and disrespect I have endured here.
