- KDK DekFeb 11, 20261.0We are new to this resort. During our first couple of days, my 80 yr old father came to visit for two days. He parks out front of our place, no warning, they TOWED his car. We had asked at the gate if he needed a pass, and rules? The gate staff, hired owners, said, "You don't need a pass for a 2 to 3 day stay." NOTHING WAS SAID. I took pictures of three vehicles parked on the road on the way to the office. But, the office said, "Absolutely no vehicles are allowed to park on the road, or grass, at anytime." Ok, I guess the rules are subjective. Also, the Crappy trailer next to ours has written violations for all the junk outside, nothing happens. I was looking to buy a place in this community after our lease was up, but not now. I'm so glad this came up now before making that decision. If we had bought in, it would have been hard to reverse and get out with units dropping from $50k, to as low as $5k. The rigid and inconsistent rule enforcement and the $1750 a month lot rent is effectively crushing dreams.
