My husband and I have lived in this apartment for 2 years. Until the new management came (evergreen) we had no issues with the apartment and enjoyed our time. Our emails go unreturned. The renewal process was disorganized. The previous year they gave us 90 days to renew. We have 57 days left and finally just got our lease. But the best part *sarcasm* they are charging us almost $2,300 when the current rates online for our 2 bed 2 bath apartment is $1,780. The management would prefer us move to a different apartment so they can start “renovations” of adding peel and stick tiles for backsplash and changing the colors of the cabinets so they can make the prices higher for future renters. The chef’s kiss to it all is the renewal documents are not on our loft portal to review; even if we felt like looking at the documents anyway. My husband and I live in Florida by ourselves and EverGreen Estero left us with less than 2 months to find a new apartment during peak season or ‘move to a new building’ like we really would after the lack of communication the last 6 months. If you’re looking for a temporary rental. Sure. The amenities are decent. The hot tub is usually filled with chlorine that makes your skin smell like chlorine even after a good scrub in the shower. The gym has functional equipment but most of the time there’s nothing to clean the equipment with. The pool is pretty. But the locks to the door are usually broken so anyone can come in. So come summer time there’s tons of people who don’t live here coming to the pool and hot tub because anyone can walk in the. Don’t let them full you about the ‘grills coming soon’ because we toured here july 2023 and they said they were gonna have propane grills by the pool and it’s 2026 and still never been put in. If you’re looking for a long term residency like my husband and i, then this isnt the place for you. New management just want to make as many ‘land lord specials’ upgrades so they can charge people more.

Good location but poor quality living. The high rated reviews focus on the general tour or hosted events, but here’s what a resident’s pov is. Parking is limited unless you pay extra, security gates for the pool and dog park are frequently broken, and package lockers are inaccessible to many carriers, leading to theft with little response and support from management. Amenities are poorly maintained, including broken gym equipment, missing sanitation supplies, long-term pool/hot tub closures, and unsanitary dog waste areas. Valet trash is mandatory, yet residents are fined without warning even when trash cans are dirtied by others. Communication is inconsistent—lease renewal was disorganized, maintenance requests are often closed without proper resolution, and units are not cleaned well before move-in. Units also have flimsy cabinets, low water pressure, frequent clogs, power outages, and very thin walls. Despite new ownership, conditions have not improved. While the location is convenient, constant construction over the past year has impacted safety and quiet enjoyment. I do not recommend living here until management makes major improvements and adjusts rent to match the quality. Speak with current residents for an honest review and make sure your getting an upgraded new unit before signing a high rent contract.

Nowadays, you can see real-time rent pricing, square footage, and even do a virtual tour of apartments in the area all online. So, there's no need for me to speak to the pricing and specifications of this apartment complex- you can judge it yourself. However, the one thing you can't see online, and must experience over time, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at Evergreen at Estero. It is what sets this place apart from other apartments in the area and why I have lived here since 2019 (about 6 years as of the writing of this review). In particular, Joel and Carmen are always going above and beyond to make the community great and are very responsive in helping resolve any issues. I would recommend them above all aspects of this apartment complex and I hope you get a chance to meet them.

Estero Oaks is like many other apartment complexes in design and amenities. The difference here is the staff. Always helpful, always doing a little bit extra when it isn't necessary. They really make the difference when you consider the sea of available apartment complexes. From the community events at the pool, to the organized food trucks, and the way they are always willing to help out even when it's inconvenient, the staff here is what separates this apartment community from others.
