  Our experience with Layla (our supposed Salesperson) and the Pulte Loan team was extremely disappointing due to the consistent lack of communication and follow-through throughout the process. After being told we did not qualify, we were removed from the buyer portal without any clear explanation or follow-up. For weeks, our calls and emails went unanswered, and it wasn’t until our realtor stepped in—calling multiple times and messaging in a group chat—that we finally received a response. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing the home placed back on the market, only to be contacted again after we inquired about our deposit refund. We had also communicated that we were prepared to add an additional co-borrower to strengthen our application, yet our file was closed without any meaningful discussion. We ultimately closed on our new home last weekend, yet we have not heard from our sales representative since the first week of DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!There were no updates, no check-ins, and no communication during such a major life milestone. Purchasing a home should be an exciting and well-supported experience, but instead we felt undervalued, overlooked, and disregarded throughout the process. Communication, consistency, and customer care are critical in real estate transactions, and unfortunately those standards were not met in our case. We hope this feedback encourages meaningful improvements for future buyers. We were qualified through an outside lender… Once we started with them everything went smoothly. We had an amazing experience working with PULTE’s construction manager, Juanpi! From start to finish, he was absolutely awesome. He was professional, attentive, and truly cared about making sure everything was done right. Whenever we voiced any concerns, he listened carefully and was so pleasant to work with. He never made us feel rushed or dismissed — instead, he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt confident every step of the way. During our first walkthrough, he thoroughly explained the entire process and what to look for. What really impressed us was how he caught areas that needed attention that we completely missed. That level of detail and commitment gave us so much peace of mind. By the time we reached our final walkthrough, everything was smooth and stress-free — it was truly a breeze! We’re so grateful for his hard work, dedication, and professionalism. If you have the chance to work with Juanpi, you’re in great hands! I gave PULTE a 3 star review because the house is beautiful, affordable and the Construction team was AMAZINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! Our sales rep though, she needs to do better.
