I currently live at these apartments. Had a leak on my bathroom ceiling by middle of December and it took me more than 5 times to walk in the office and ask for someone to come and fix it and finally was done by end of January, Crazy after a month and a half. Now has been almost two weeks that it started happening again on the same spot. Water is dripping from ceiling and I’ve contacted the office twice and still nothing. Probably is gonna take them 2 months this time . Also there is a lot of mold and moisture throughout the entire unit. This situation is really starting to affect my health and no one from the those people here care. They are very irresponsible
Do not make the mistake moving here.
While the apartment is a lovely size for us and the ponds and trees are beautiful as well as our neighbors being so kind and genuine, we have had consistent problems since moving here unfortunately- we have tried to let a lot of them go or be understanding but as an overall would not recommend signing here to ANYONE ever. Visible mold in vents and living space, mailbox doors broken off and into and CONSTANT mail stolen from us as well as other neighbors (post office has informed us this is an apartment complex issue and yet they refuse to fix it stating it was the post office’s problem, and ignored our previous maintenance request and questions), a massive roach infestation after our downstairs neighbors moved out that we had to take care of ourselves (a pest guy finally came without letting us know and sprayed chemicals after we had already had to take care of it- the card they left said to not let pets be in area they sprayed when our cat was here and clearly in the chemicals), as well as numerous other maintenance requests that have been marked as completed on the renters page without actually being properly looked at or actually completed. We have only placed a maintenance request when there was a genuine problem as well, not just for a paint chip or something silly. Firm believer in taking care of what you have been blessed with, so my husband and I try to do what we can for our apartment clean wise as well as when these problems arise and aren’t taken care of; it is just a little more challenging when where you rent from pretends to have solutions without authentic care for quality of life as well as health and well being of its renters! Thank you for reading, and please take caution before spending your hard-earned income here.

Lived here for 3 years and only moving to be closer to family after having a baby, but it's been a pleasure! Maintenance was always responsive, never took more than a day to fix anything. Neighborhood is quiet/cozy, really close by to grocery stores, shops and being close to the highway was great for commuting to St.Pete easily! Front office team, especially Annlyn, was always helpful and kind! Highly recommend!

This place is ridiculous my friend lives here and is afraid of blow back until her lease is up. I am not ! They do not keep up with maintenance at all with no relief for people living with collapsed ceilings. They have visitor parking if you can find it not clearly marked nor will they provide a map of where it is located .i went in to discuss issues with the young girl at the office who informed me there was nothing she could do then asked me to leave . This is utterly ridiculous and we are speaking with advocates to bring action to this slum lord . Do not move here and do not let them get by with it !
I am writing this to warn other parents and prospective renters my daughter and her friend experienced at Four Lakes at Clearwater. If I could give them negative stars I would.
Initial Discovery & Health Hazards:
Upon receiving the keys to my daughter's unit and going in to clean, she and her roommate noticed visible mold growing around the HVAC air vents and inside the kitchen cabinets.
Management’s Response: Despite the physical evidence the onsite response was dismissive and told them it was just dust.
• Lack of Accountability: Sheri, the Senior Community Manager, personally inspected the unit and claimed there was "no evidence of moisture," essentially ignoring the visible growth.
• Contradictory Vendor Reports: When the complex sent their own vendor to clean the HVAC system, the technician was honest enough to tell my daughter that the unit needed far more than a simple cleaning—he explicitly stated there was mold inside the vents that required professional remediation.
Financial and Professional Strain; This ordeal was not just a housing issue; it became a financial burden. My daughter lost significant work hours and income due to the constant back-and-forth, attending inspections, and being unable to move as planned, forcing her to scramble to find a place to live 6 days before her current lease was ending in the middle and of the Christmas holidays.
Waiting Game: Since they were not initially going to let them out of the lease and allow a tenant to live in hazardous conditions and due to the severity of visible mold, we ordered a professional mold inspection. The results were alarming: the lab report confirmed hazardous levels of mold spores throughout the apartment, posing a significant health risk.
After a period of dispute, management finally agreed to cancel the lease. However, since this is a corporate run property, it took about a month before funds were returned for an apartment that was unsafe to live in.
Bottom Line: If you value your health and your time, be extremely cautious. The lack of urgency regarding hazardous living conditions and the dismissal of tenant concern is deeply concerning. Buyer beware!! Find someplace else to live!!
