If I could give ZERO stars I would do so. I have been here for less than a year and my lease cannot end fast enough. I am not one to post reviews but considering that I moved here based on the five star reviews that they once had less than a year ago I wanted to warn others not to move here. I was displaced by the hurricane last year and I thought this was going to be an amazing place to start over but I was so wrong. I will start with my biggest issue currently, there is a bug infestation despite weekly pest control for several months. I have had several pest control employees tell me that the surrounding apts need to be sprayed as well otherwise it will never work and they also told me that they notified the office of this as well. I have called the office several times to request they notify my neighbors of this issue so they can also have pest control come in and nothing has changed. The landscaping or should I say lack of is horrible with dead trees, grass and plants everywhere, no mulch etc. The office staff has changed countless times in 10 months and does not answer the phone or call you back if you call with an issue. The noise from other apts is disturbing to say the least. I constantly hear my upstairs neighbors walking, talking, closing cabinets, closing doors, peeing, arguing, dog running. I can hear my next door neighbor yelling, screaming and having sex. My neighbors dog has destroyed the whole yard more than once even after they placed new sod and the yard is full of dirt and poop once again which smells horrid from my patio so I cannot sit outside. The dog ripped all of the screens out of the patio next to me and they constantly have random large pieces of furniture sitting outside which no one does anything about. If you go to the office with complaints they say all the right things and pretend to care and then ZERO follow through or follow up as promised. The apts are way over priced in comparison considering there is NOTHING luxury about them. Before you move in they review all of these rules and regulations that make it sound so clean and well taken care of that NO ONE follows. There is dog poop all over the property so don't be fooled by the dog rules. I would not recommend anyone to live here.

I have lived at Vida for almost 2 years now. And like many others this used to be very beautiful and well taken care of place to live. I used to feel as though I was taken of high importance with any concerns that I had. I have addressed multiple issues over the last 6 months, with the front office staff, to which only one has been properly addressed. Not only has this place become an actual dump to live in, there are bug infestations here that are not properly resolved (no worries health department involved in this), structural damage both inside and outside of my apartment from the hurricanes in 2024, Which have not yet been resolved. And at the very least, this expensive, luxury so-called apartment has still yet to even put mulch down in over a year. This results in horrible curb appeal, with hoses showing which causes safety concerns, not to mention a flooding issue inside my door secondary to poor drainage, causing mold, and dirt all over my outside wall and door, which I might add that I have to clean up after every time it rains. They talk to you in the front office like you’re very important yet….Still nothing gets done. Please take the time to review this property and look at all of these most recent reviews before making a decision to live here. I can’t wait to get out!

Pool hasn’t been heated for 6 weeks and can’t get an answer on when it will be fixed. Management is in no hurry to resolve the issue which is unacceptable. I’ll be back on here in a couple of months when it’s still not fixed. Of course they advertise that the pool is heated. They apparently are having problems with their pool contractor so instead of getting another company to put in a heater tenants have to wait indefinitely for them to resolve this which means we can’t use the pool. How does that make sense?

With all the positive reviews I am shocked.... I lived at Vida for 2.5 years. When I first moved into the community, everything was new and fabulous. Management WAS spot on, the grounds were beautiful and was a great community. Unfortunately, that did not last. There had been a consistent turn over of managers and leasing associates as well as Management companies. Maintenance requests were not handled, even though the work order was closed numerous times without them even coming out.... A few times when they did come, they had to come out a second time as it was not corrected the 1st time. Personal experience and I had alot of good friends in the community and all had the same issues in which I am stating. It was the standing joke among residents that 2 maintenance people were always together, never apart sitting around in the car wash and by the maintenance garage on their phones with their feet up on the golf cart. Pet waste stations were always overflowing or no waste bags. Grounds that were once beautiful have been neglected for a very long time. Dead palms, dead phromes on most of the palm trees. The pond has nasty scum on the sides. The furniture at the pool is not cleaned. The windows were never cleaned outside in the 2.5 years I lived there. Yards are torn up from pets digging, people use their lanais like storage sheds. Vehicles with flat tires and expired plates. Certainly not the shiny penny it once was. As for the pool.... beautiful although, gates never close tight. More people with large groups on a Sunday afternoon and the majority did not live there....Fact people that did not live there were getting into the pool and using it.. Trash pick up which you pay for there were many times my trash was missed or community trash was not picked up for whatever reason.. Quite alot of turn over with trash pick up vendors. Communication with the residents was no good at all. Which I always thought it was important. My lease was coming due in which I was notified of my 60 day mark for renewal. I sent repeat voicemails and emails inquiring what my lease terms would be NO response for 2 months. I was in a 1/1 with a pond view. I looked around and found a beautiful place, 2/2 with almost double the space. Beautiful well maintained property with even better amenities. For the same price I was paying at Vida. I highly suggest you do your homework walk the property before you sign a lease. Managment had changed right before I left, I have contacted them twice inquiring about my security deposit. (I did do a walk through with the assistant manager prior to turning in my keys and nothing was wrong) of course no response what so ever.. Surprise..... Not the way it is to be. Hopefully this will be a nice place again, maybe one day.

A week ago I visited these apartments to apply and I was assisted by a young woman named Sara McCurdy, an excellent, very professional person. She explained everything to me very kindly, providing first-class attention, very professional, very pleased with her service and quick and helpful help.
