  I’ve lived at Harbor Pointe Apartments for four years, dealing with a severe German cockroach infestation. Despite monthly treatments, it remains unresolved. Other residents have told me this problem has existed for many years before I arrived. With 16 units per building, proper fumigation isn’t feasible. Since management won’t let me out of my lease to pursue a real solution, I strongly advise future residents to think carefully before moving in.

  I’ve been here over one year… Nice place for the most part… Corporate owned, office staff not in control of particulars…. Only thing good is maintenance staff. Managment changed amenity schedule hours six month into my stay. Horrible schedules on amenities, Restroom hours are unreasonable for exercise room, no access between 6pm to 9am, dependent on undependable office hours. Complaint noted. Club house hours 9am to 6 pm closed on Sunday, so no billiards or club house on Sunday… inconvenient situation.. office building is not even part of club house, restrooms, pool or fitness exercise broom.. apartment complex schedule and pool fence layout is totally wrong… Pool & hot-tub hours not dependable, lucky if it’s open when office is open 9am till 6pm.. Today 2/10/2026 gate to bathroom facility open by Gym at 7:30am, if only it could be open at 3:30am..

  Nice place for the most part… Dig this, new parking rules they put on windshield two days before thanksgiving, 2025. Apartment management had a tow truck company CommTow wright our 12 parking rules. Rules for 71st Street west, 12 rules that “will result in an immediate tow with no warning whatsoever” Rule 12 states “vehicles backed into a parking space” Apparently they will tow your car if you back in, why? Letter didn’t say but apt manager said because it makes it hard for tow truck drivers to check current up to date stickers. If you back, you’ll be towed without warning, minimal charge $250 tow + $200 each night in impound lot.. Apartment manager verbally recanted rule 12 that same day after extreme reaction from residents… New parking stops are worthless around perimeter of complex because if your tire hit stop your hood or trunk is in the woods or against wall, parking should have had walkway designed around parking lot during original layout, property too small now for that.
