  I couldn’t wait for my lease to end at this place. Do not move here unless you are desperate. This has been the worst experience I’ve had renting. The entire complex is filthy, especially the parking lot. There’s always garbage on the ground and around the dumpsters. The steps and landing areas are always filled with garbage too. Valet trash does not always come as scheduled either. This complex also boots cars when your cars registration is not up to date or your guests did not pay $10/daily and register their car. It costs $80 to remove a boot. BEWARE. Maintenance takes more than a week to come after logging a ticket and are a waste of time. I’ve had a guest locked in a bedroom for hours because the door handle was defective and had to go to the office several times to get a maintenance man to remove the door handle to open the door. Some staff members in the office were rude and disregarded my requests. Safety was also an issue at this complex. I’ve never seen so much police activity since I started renting there. SWAT came there once and there was another incident in summer 2025 where somebody was shot and killed on this complex. If you want peace of mind DO NOT MOVE HERE!

  Maintenance doesn't address things in a reasonable timeframe here. The ceiling damage in the images is a week and a half old. I submitted a work request the day it started coming down, and went to inform the office in person that day. I also submitted another over the weekend, with additional images. Nothing.

  I am writing this to protest a severe breach of privacy from seven months ago. A staff member entered my unit without permission and disturbed my personal belongings, specifically my bed. Management's response to this violation was dismissive and lacked any form of accountability or apology. Seven months later, this disregard for tenant rights remains unacceptable. This lack of professionalism is appalling

  They don't fix anything. Bad place to pick to live I have a empty apartment above people are up there making loud noises all through the night. Went to the office to complain about it and they did nothing . This has been going on for one month. The office said they were going to check on it but they still are making loud noises. They would go to the apartment above me at 7:00sm and would be making loud noises until the next day. My deposit still shows that we owe on our deposit. Messing up and say owe owe them $600 and said they sent a refund check and don't know who has the check they all can't tell us the check number. They don't know what bank it's from. We have been here going on three months. Really bad experience living here

  Living here has been an absolute nightmare. The complex is filthy and poorly maintained — trash is often left sitting around the dumpsters, and common areas look neglected. Parking is another huge issue; by 6 PM, every single spot is taken, and residents are basically forced to pay extra for “premier parking” just to have a guaranteed space near their building. Safety here is a serious concern. One night, a full SWAT team had to raid the complex around 2 AM to arrest someone, waking up the entire community. Another time, the property was partially shut down because a leasing agent was connected to a resident involved in a murder that happened right on the property. To make matters worse, both my patio and my downstairs neighbor’s were broken into, and items were stolen. When I reported it, management’s only response was, “We do not have video surveillance of the building.” Between the lack of security, the unhelpful management, and the overall unsafe environment, I wouldn’t recommend Ashley Lake Park to anyone. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
