Shortly after I paid my deposit, the base price of the Cadence homes were reduced by $20,000. I reached out to them multiple times over the course of **three months**, asking for a price adjustment. Despite my good faith efforts, they refused to adjust my contract and gave me a $5,000 credit, even though other buyers were getting the lower pricing, meaning I would be entering the home with negative equity.Today they do not even offer the Cadence which was the largest unit. Due to personal circumstances, I had to withdraw from the contract and requested a return of my deposit — they refused. I had also paid money to lock an interest rate for four months, but never signed the required disclosure. Still, Ryan Homes claimed that because I had simply opened the document, that alone made it binding based on their “internal policy.” That reasoning is not only questionable, it’s completely unfair to buyers. On top of all this, the build quality is not what you'd expect for the price point. The kitchen cabinets feel cheap and plasticky, and the single-car garage is so narrow it can barely fit anything larger than a mid-sized sedan**. The layout and design choices feel rushed and lacking in practicality. Buying a home is a huge commitment, and I expected better transparency, fairness, and quality from a national builder. Instead, I felt taken advantage of, misled, and ignored. If you're considering Ryan Homes — especially at French Park — proceed with extreme caution.
