- RLRobert LondonApr 23, 20262.0NOTE: The following review is not about this development, but it is a warning about anyone dealing with NV Homes sales agents. —- My wife and I love the Estuary in Sussex county. We love the home, Neighbors, community and amenities. The NV Homes operations team was great during the build, house is solid, the Warranty team and others are responsive and helpful. You might be thinking, why the two star rating? Because the promise of our forever home has been destroyed by an outright lie that we and others on our street were told by NV Homes during the sales process regarding nearby issues. I’m not going to get into detail here. Suffice to say it is a constant external issue that makes it unpleasant being outside our home, and in some cases even inside it. So imagine if you will enjoying a beautiful walk on the trails or bike ride or just a nice dinner and coming home to an unpleasant albeit invisible issue. Sure, buyer beware, but we don’t expect to be lied to in such a bold faced manner. We’re talking about tens and tens of thousands of dollars in property value at stake. If anyone in an executive operational capacity at NV homes wants to speak to me for details, I will share. But I will not speak with any community engagement, corporate communications or customer experience personnel who do not have direct authority to negotiate and rectify the situation. To reiterate, we love the home, the neighbors and the community. But we are reminded every single day that we should not have trusted the word of a sales person from NV homes when they answered our specific question about the lots on our street. I won’t speak for our neighbors other than to say we have all discussed this many times and there is a lot of unresolved anger.
