Im in the process of finding g a new home and saw the Verge. Upon walking in I was greeted by a nice young lady named Kayla with great customer service! The lobby decor was well kept and looked very comfortable. Kayla then took me on a tour and showed all of the perks of making The Verge a home. I really liked the units I saw, there were updated kitchen appliances, spacious bedrooms, and a awesome view. This definitely looks like a great place to live!

I had the most amazing tour experience at Verge DC, and I cannot recommend Kayla Kornegay highly enough! From the moment I arrived, Kayla welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism that instantly made me feel valued and at ease. Her knowledge of the property and neighborhood was impressive. She walked me through every detail of Verge’s stunning modern design, spectacular amenities, and the vibrant Buzzard Point lifestyle that surrounds it.
Kayla took the time to understand what I was looking for, tailored the tour to my interests, and answered every question with clarity and enthusiasm. Her expertise made it easy to visualize myself living in this exceptional community with luxurious features like rooftop spaces, fitness areas, and breathtaking views.
What stood out most was Kayla’s genuine passion for helping people find a place that fits their lifestyle. She was patient, attentive, and incredibly personable throughout the entire visit. If you are considering Verge DC, do yourself a favor and ask for Kayla. She turns a simple tour into an unforgettable experience.

I’ve been living at Verge DC since May 2024, and overall it’s been a really positive experience. The building is modern, clean, and well-designed, with great natural light and views that really make the apartments feel special. The layouts are functional and stylish, and I’ve appreciated the quality of the finishes and how comfortable the space feels day-to-day.
The amenities are a big highlight, especially the rooftop pool, lounges, and common areas, which are well maintained and never feel overcrowded. The fitness center is convenient, and having multiple shared spaces makes it easy to work from home or relax without leaving the building.
The location is another major plus. It’s close to Navy Yard, the waterfront, Audi Field, and public transportation, so getting around DC is easy. The neighborhood continues to grow, and it’s been nice being in an area that feels active but not overwhelming.
Management and staff have generally been responsive and professional, and Community Manager Kayla Kornegay truly goes above and beyond to help residents. I’ve also really enjoyed seeing her grow from a leasing consultant into the community manager role, it speaks to her dedication and the consistency of care she brings to residents.

I moved into Verge at the beginning of September 2025, and from the moment you walk into the building, you’re welcomed by a beautiful scent and a stunning lobby. I absolutely love my apartment and have had a wonderful experience with the staff overall. Natasha, in particular, has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She is professional, supportive, and genuinely kind, and she made this transition feel easy and stress-free. Thank you to Natasha and the entire Verge staff for such a great experience so far!
