  They Have a 3-Star Rating for a Reason — and Honestly, That’s Generous My wife and I lived here for over two years, and it was one problem after another. What’s worse is how little the leasing office cared each time something went wrong. Here’s what we went through: -My car was stolen from their parking lot. The leasing office’s response? “We can give you the security footage.” That’s it. -The car I bought to replace the stolen one was hit in the same lot a few months later. Same story — no accountability, just security footage. -Packages were stolen constantly. We filed multiple police reports, but management told us it “wasn’t their problem.” They couldn’t even be bothered to review footage. -Hot water heater burst upstairs, flooding through the walls into our unit. Huge mess. No urgency, no real help. Just a bill when we moved out. -AC failed in the middle of summer and stayed broken for more than a week. No concern for residents’ comfort or safety. -Maintenance ignored “Do Not Enter” instructions on work orders. They just walked in without us present — completely unacceptable. -Trash compactor always broken. Piles of garbage, homeless people digging through it, constant smell. -Laundry room overpriced and always full. People would leave clothes sitting in machines for entire weekends. We also paid $40 per cat per month for two years — that’s $1,920 total in pet fees. Yet, when we moved out, our final bill magically equaled what a deposit would’ve been (which they waived because I was separating from the military). Here’s the breakdown they gave: “Living room wall repair” — the wall was damaged from the hot water heater leak, not us. “Carpet replacement” — they claimed the carpet was “saturated in cat urine,” which might’ve been true early on while the cats were kittens. But again, that’s literally what the pet fees are supposed to cover. So in the end, they took nearly $2,000 in “pet rent” and still charged us for the same thing at move-out. It feels like a scam — and based on how they handle everything else, I’m not surprised. If you’re considering living here: document everything. Take photos, keep emails, save texts — you’ll need proof of every interaction. The management here is just another corporate machine that doesn’t care about its residents beyond collecting rent. And if you ever need to speak with the leasing office — avoid Hannah. She’s rude, dismissive, and should not be working in customer service. Bottom line: This place looks decent on paper, but the moment you need help, you’ll realize you’re on your own. Cars stolen, packages stolen, leaks, heat, trash — and zero accountability. Spend your money somewhere else if you can.

  I had a great experience with everyone who works for Clocktower Mill. I was having issues with the water heater located in my bedroom closet, so I emailed management and the next day Brandon and his team came to replace the faulty water heater, that was causing a strong sulfur odor that was irritating me to a point where I couldn't sleep in my room. Brandon and his team worked hard, without making a mess and took pride in their work. A big thank you to management, assistant management and leasing consultants.
